I want to start out with the good, cuz i like being fair. The food here is really good, i had a smash burger with no peppers (acid reflux, if you know, u know how painful that is) and the ultimate nachos. My wife had the all american cuz she's simple (i kid i kid) my smash burger was super juicy, what youd expect what a good smash burger to taste like. The sauce was creamy and not super greasy. The Nachos were phenomenal, has a bit of everything, im talkin spice, pico de gallo, cheese sauce, sour cream, and it was crispy every bite. Prob my favorite nachos and i love nacho and cheese. My wifes burger was great, she ate all of it. Fries weren't my favorite but not many places have the perfect mix of good fries and good burgers. The place looks good, clearly catered to football fans and sports fans alike. If youre looking for a nice place to eat food and have a blast with your friends or family watching the game, this is the place.
Now for the critique. Disclaimer: Not everyone will have the same viewpoints or experiences, some people are more tolerable about specific issues than others. Thats fine, keep in mind this is my experience.
I ordered a water with no ice and a lemon, for those of you that dont know, no ice for acid reflux people when eating a fatty food like a burger is necessary to avoid the fat from freezing and becoming like a kind of blockade in your stomach which increases acid reflux activity. The lime is there to help keep a balance in pH/stomach acidity lvl. The waiter brought me a water with ice. I dont normally care too much if they make a mistake, but this is first of 3.
I ordered the Smash burger they have on the menu as of 11/05/2023 at 6PM. I asked for no peppers because despite my high spice tolerance, acid reflux activity is spiked when there is pepers involved, and considering a wing restaurant such as Wild Wings uses Japapeño peppers for a lot of dishes, thats really bad for acid reflux because it increases the stomach acid lvl super high. I got peppers on my sandwich and they put "no pickles". At this point i was a bit irritated, but its no biggie i took off the peppers after swallowing a few accidentally.
Lastly, this is minor, but it bugs me anyway. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce for the fries, but 2 things, fries were cold, and i didnt get my BBQ sauce and my wife didnt get her ranch. (Yes this is not good for acid reflux, but its just black peppers, so its no where near as reactive to stomach acid as jalapeño peppers). I was annoyed. Despite all this, I didnt say anything because i dont like making a scene nor do i like making the server feel like doodoo water.
All in all, the food is great, the atmosphere is perfect, but the server kinda ruined it all for me. I will say, to the servers defense, she did have a group of 12 that showed up at the same time as me and my wife, and that can def be hectic but ive been to busier restaurants and have had consistently good results. Perhaps invest in your waiters to find new ways to make sure orders arent messed up more consistently. Its possible! I used to manage my own restaurant a few years back.
Pro tip: Busier hours for restaurants usually have fresher foods and better quality, weekends at 6PM ot fridays at 6-7PM is a good time to go to your local Restaurants like Red Lobster or Outback. Typically longer wait times on foods, but generally...
Read moreI will definitely come back to this location because of Logic and Gigi.
As I was driving home after a long day of work, I completely forgot about dinner and had nothing prepared. I remembered that Buffalo Wild Wings offers BOGO free boneless wings on Thursdays. I tried to place an order for pick up using my app, but couldn’t redeem my birthday reward for 6 free wings.
When I called, Logic picked up on the first ring. I explained my situation and he offered to place the order for me over the phone, or that I could place my order in store, whichever was easiest for me. I opted for the first option and provided my name and phone number so the reward could be applied. He also advised that I could redeem my birthday reward for bone-in or bone-less wings, and double checked that was accurate instead of providing misinformation.
He asked me what sauce I would like on the wings, and if I would like completely ranch or blue cheese, and celery or carrots. I added an order of regular fries, and an order 6 BOGO boneless wings. He verified that I would receive a total of 12 wings which I appreciated so there was no confusion and I understood what I was getting.
Before completing my order, Logic asked if I wanted to include anything else, in which I declined. He read back my order including every detail, and confirmed that the birthday reward for my 6 free wings were applied correctly. He then informed me of my total that would be owed upon pick up and provided an estimated time for completion.
Once I arrived, Gigi greeted me with a friendly attitude as soon as I walked up to the To-Go counter. She was very kind and quickly verified that my order wasn’t yet ready (I was early) and gave me an estimated wait time. During my short wait, Gigi confirmed with me that I did not want sauce on my BOGO wings, just in case the information wasn’t included in my order, or if there was a misprint on the ticket for the kitchen. Logic remembered my order and kindly assured her that it was correct before I could even get up from the waiting area. I didn’t wait very long for my food, and the total I paid matched exactly what I was told over the phone. I was even offered my receipt which isn’t automatically provided at most places. I returned a few months later as I forgot something. Gigi quickly noticed I returned and stopped what she was doing to assist me and make sure my order was satisfactory, which made me feel important as a customer.
I greatly appreciate the extra effort, care, and attention to detail from both Logic and Gigi. After a long stressful day, it’s a relief to be able to effortlessly bring home dinner which is a task that I don’t always have the time or patience for. Thank you to Gigi and Logic for setting the standard for how customer service should be.
Management, I will not return as a customer unless my experience is shared with your team, regional/corporate management, and Logic and Gigi are honorably recognized. These two individuals are great leaders and should definitely be promoted to...
Read moreNot a fan, because they know nothing about wings, i only go there because they got the hockey game on.
This is the worst location by far.
Walked in at 2200. Noticed that it's a fairly large area about 60 tables but only three tables in the bar area were occupied so I'm thinking me and my family was in for quick service.
In the front of the restaurant, it has a podium with menus and other items but no host to seat us. Waited about 2-3 mins and i finally asked a gentleman in the kitchen area. I wasn't mad or impatient, it was just a little different not having a host.
The gentleman in the kitchen said to seat myself anywhere in the bar area. We seat ourselves in the bar area mind you, i have a 10 year old and a baby.
We waited about 5-7 mins and didn't see a waiter or waitress walking the floor. So my wife walked up to the bartender to grab some menus while we waited for our server. My wife was instantly greeted by a server named Abriana after she received the menus.
Abriana noticed we were sitting in the upper area of the bar and requested us to sit on the lower section of the bar with the taller tables and chairs. The high chair is actually too short to be in the lower section so they had no choice to seat us in the higher section. I don't know why she is trying to argue with us about seating when you got 4 tables including us.
My wife proves her case in regards to the seating arrangement and Abriana is fine with adding more steps to her daily routine. We sit down and we wait about 10 mins for Abriana to take our drink order. By that time we are ready to order drinks appetizers and entrees.
20 mins from entry to ordering.
We got our food an hour later and it was cold and stale. Our super nachos weren't so super. Out of carrots and celery. Hard to get refills on our drinks. I requested sauce and utensils before and after the food came out. I waited 10 mins and it felt intentional. I had look for our waitress but she was no where to be found. She comes out of nowhere with our sauce about 5 mins later and I let her know, her service was not good and the food was not up to standard, we took the leftover burger but left like 10 wings because they were burnt and dry.
Ultimately, Abriana needs retraining on customer service, to drop the attitude and stop taking so many breaks, its closing time.
This experience took 2 hours from start to finish. 1 star, would...
