(23 Oct 2018) My experience is awesome. They have TouchTunes! They bar tender is laid back and pretty cool. He did say they had karaoke, but due to it not being popular it was removed for Tuesday. They still have open mic on Mondays. I'm not much of a Sour beer drinker, but for those of you that love sours you should try this place. They did have their own brown ale and IPA which is pretty good. They have other brands from other local breweries, but when I go...I always want to try the stuff that the Brewery makes. If I wanted someone else's stuff, I'd go there. They are not able to keep up with demand, so that is why they offer from other local breweries. The outside area is very nice. I can smoke and enjoy my beverage. Nice, peaceful, and I feel safe here. The photo they have for this place used to be a small food mart. You can order from a nearby place that has pasta and pizza. They'll get it here pretty quickly without a delivery charge, although do tip the driver. The drinks are very potent. I didn't see anything less than 5%. Most beer was around 6% or higher. I would like to see more beer around 4% so that if I'm starting to feel buzzed, I could slow down on something with less alcohol content. I'm not sure if dogs are allowed, because I didn't see any. They do make a really good IPA. I'll definitely be back again! P.S. I'll update with date the next time I come here!
Edit: I actually like the #3 sour they served 23 Oct 2018. Never thought I would like sours until I tried that...
Read moreI must have hit an off night, judging by other reviews. Although, I am of the opinion as of late that 5 stars must simply mean "acceptable." I found the beer selection of reasonable variety, though only their English Brown was the only thing that peaked my interest. I didn't dislike the beer, however it was neither english nor brown. It was dark brown, approaching porter and had the roastiness and character of the same. If they used Fuggles or Goldings they were overpowered by the dominant malt forward presentation. Other beers on tap were standards at many breweries. I do applaud their moderate offering of IPAs, allowing for other flavors. I believe there was a cider, a couple of fruited sours, a couple IPAs, Berliner, hef, stout, pils, etc. My fish sandwich ( ordered with no cheese, no tarter) was a single, maybe 3oz - 4oz piece of fish on a hoagie with shredded iceburg. I got my fill of bread, not fish. I ate it. The "food truck" appeared to be a permanent fixture, as if it was the brewery's kitchen. There menu was not "food truck" fare to which I am accustomed (specialty) it was run of the mill bar food; picture TGIF or Applebee's. I certainly was disappointed to have made the drive because I saw they featured food trucks. If you want "food trucks" go to the "non-brewery" in Apollo Beach, Four Stacks; it is their best feature. Sandwich and a beer with tip $21.94. I do not have...
Read moreFirst timers. We sat for more than 5 minutes before we realized we needed to scan a qr code to order food. Completely ignored by staff. Our qr code didn't work, so we used the table next to us. Ordered $75 worth of food and tipped 20% in advance. Drinks, including soft drinks, had to be ordered separately at the bar. Waited a long time for food before a server finally approached and asked if I was Austin H, and said our food was ready outside. The qr code on the table said "we'll text you when your food is ready." We'd received no text.
Outside at the food trailer I saw trays of food and asked, "Is that Austin H's order?" Woman inside snapped, "I dunno, is that what you ordered?" She then said she'd been paging me for more than five minutes. Confused, I asked, "Paging me how?" Instead of answering she replied angrily, "You should have put your phone number in when you ordered. You're supposed to put your phone number in."
This is not a completely straightforward setup. I was allowed to order without putting a phone number in. My name and the table next to me was displayed on the receipt. This can't be the first time this has happened. No need to have an absolutely terrible attitude about it. We...
