On Sunday, October 5th, between 5:30â5:50 PM, my daughters and their friend visited your location for ice cream. For the first time, their friend didnât like her untouched creation, and per your online policy, they requested an exchange. Employee Elena rudely refused, insisting theyâd have to buy a new one.
We called from home, and Elena continued to refuse, claiming no manager was on site and denying the exchange outrightâeven after I mentioned contacting corporate. She never budged, rolling her eyes and giving the girls dirty looks the entire time. The unprofessional and unfriendly behavior made the girls so uncomfortable that they ended up taking their ice cream to Panera next door to eat it instead.
It ultimately took another employee, the kind and professional Steven Flores, to step in and handle the exchange properly. Elenaâs attitude and refusal to follow store policy turned what should have been a simple, pleasant visit into a stressful and unpleasant experience.
With no manager present during peak hours, this location clearly needs better training, supervision, and customer service standards. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and weâll think twice...

I had such a great experience at Cold Stone recently, and I just had to give a shout-out to Josiah, one of the employees there. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a big smile and a warm, friendly attitude that immediately made the visit more enjoyable.
Josiah was super patient while I took forever to decide on my order (too many delicious options đ ), and he offered helpful suggestions without being pushy. You could tell he actually cared about making sure I got something Iâd love. When it came time to mix the ice cream, he did it with so much energy and enthusiasmâit honestly made the whole thing more fun to watch. He even threw in a little joke that had everyone in line laughing.
The ice cream was amazing, of course, but the customer service from Josiah really stood out. You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes pride in making people happy. Itâs employees like him that make people want to come back.
