Stop & Go Convenience branford — Restaurant in Branford

I tried this place based on the number of positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not positive. I spent nearly $30.00 on a sub and salad, and both were subpar at best. The Cobb Salad was pathetic, (I'm guessing these are pre-made)The shredded lettuce must have come out of a bag, a few grape tomatoes, the thinnest dry pre-cut cucumbers (just like Subway) and a skimpy piece of (dry again) chicken sliced up, and to top it off; ONE packet of Kens dressing…$13.99 for this. The Chicken Cutlet sub was equally as bad, the thinnest pieces of dry flavorless chicken. I have no problem paying higher prices for takeout, but poor quality food in an economy like ours will keep me and my family and friends away from this place...Shame on the owners...

Hold on folks… I’ve been coming here most every day for years! In my view, this is the CHEERS of Branford .. a true local community Oasis. Solid, friendly folk that care a great deal about their customers- knowing most by name.. if not by their favorite orders to go. They’re creative and go out of their way to be helpful. Amazing food that's quick and cheap. Nice big open deli with large menu and plenty of seating. It's a perfect mix of convenience store and deli. No matter which your looking for you'll be happy here. Great for breakfast, lunch or just a quick stop for the newspaper, smokes candy, soft drink, or any other convenience store staples. Small family owned and friendly staff keeps people coming back.
