KEEP DRIVING! There are no other regular food options at this rest stop and, even if the kids are crying, keep driving. This is actually for the SouthBound Subway, but it wasn't on the map. As written by the other reviewers, the employees literally have no idea of what you are asking. After the meat was put on the sandwich, he asked, "what cheese," I said, "no cheese," and he then reached into whatever bin he decided and put cheese. Now this is an honest mistake, until it happens three sandwiches in a row (all in the same order, not separate days). How about saying, "I'll take wheat for all of my sandwiches" four times because he asks you between each sandwich, "what bread?" While I was still ordering sandwiches and speaking to the bread/meat loader, the toppings loader down the line gives me attitude about what I want on my meatball sub. I ask her to hold on for a moment, I'm still ordering, and the attitude amplifies. Imagine getting your heart rate up at a rest stop while arguing with your SERVER and trying to keep your two-year-old from playing with the chip display. Oh, and did I mention that the food was terrible?
We will never knock this subway out of business, but you can at least save yourself the aggravation of dealing with what is clearly a failure...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI drove to this Subway location to pick up an Uber Eats order. When I arrived at the restaurant, all the lights were on and there was cash in the tip jar sitting on the counter next to a sign with the restaurant's business hours which clearly stated that they were open until 9pm on Sundays. When I arrived, however, there were no employees to be found. It was 8:45pm when I arrived. I called the restaurant's phone number and a man picked up the phone and I told him I was there to pick up an order. He said, "We closed at 9pm." I told him that it was not even 9pm yet, it was 8:50pm, and he just kept saying they were closed and then hung up on me. I had to cancel a customer's order because the Subway employee who was "working" decided to close the restaurant early for no apparent reason. The customer told me that I was the 3rd UE driver to attempt picking up their order and each time, there were no employees behind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I stopped by the I-95 South Bound Branford Plaza on Friday, April 21. My wife and I walked to the SUBWAY restaurant. Our parents were waiting. There were 2 guys about 5'10" serving there at SUBWAY. One guy is slimmer who was making food for customers behind the counter. He was obviously impatient (maybe he didnāt like our accent and slow at words and sentences as new immigrants). The other cashier guy was even worse. When we checked out, he told me our napkins were in the ābagā, I thought he said they were in the ābackā, so I tried to look behind for any serviceware counter. He asked what I was doing. I answered I was looking for napkins. Then he screamed so loudly at me āThey are in the bag!!!ā. I was so shocked and humiliated. I just walked away and never wanted to see this guy...
