Walmart — Local services in Branford

This place is literally one of the worst Walmarts I have ever been in. They either don't have a store manager or their store manager just doesn't care. Every aisle is in complete disarray. IF there's anything on the shelves, it's just thrown around with no organization at all. But quite a few of the shelves are just simply not stocked at all. Some shelves are broken. Some shelves have broken product on them. Like eggs for example. Today, the store had two dozen eggs available for purchase. Both cartons were open and both cartons were smashed with yolk running all over the cooler. Slide down to the other end and you'll have your choice of a few gallons of milk resting on the edge of a broken shelf. Making up the rest of that aisle is nothing but empty space and filthy shelving. And that's not the exception, most aisles look the same. For your convenience, they'll have a couple of their registers open or you can wait in a hundred foot long line for the self checkout. Most do. But be prepared to throw loose groceries into your trunk or have a pile of disgusting reusable bags cluttering up your car because, yep, you guessed it, there's not a bag in sight for your purchases. Yay. Not for nothing, but I just came back from Colorado Springs for a wedding and the Walmart there was nothing at all like this dump. Some employees treat and look at certain type of people a different way, the cashier at register 10 was helping a white old lady and she gave her a good customer service, comes my turn and I tell her I don’t want an item and she goes huh and I’m like I don’t want this item, she was with another employee and they was talking, then I asked for formula and I said I want 7 since in other Walmarts they said they can give out more than 5 she says huh again and I’m like I need 7 and then she says only 5, okay then I go to pay and ima use wic since in every Walmart I have gone they take wic, she didn’t ask me in the beginning what payment method I was using I swiped wic and she was like we don’t take wic I’m like every Walmart does can I speak to a manager? The. She proceeded to say I’m going to suspend your transaction and you can go to customer service desk with an attitude, I told her no I want a manager, she goes get a manager and apparently the managers don’t like to talk to customers at all. I will not be shopping at this Walmart again, making feel like since I’m of skin color she treated me the...

If it was me by myself I would be giving this one star but I went there with my girlfriend so she can exchange a pan and pick up the pan that she ordered that was the right size. I decided to walk around the store to check out said store since I hadn't been to this particular Walmart. also I was looking for a controller for my computer so if I found one I would have told my girlfriend about it so she could have got it for me for Christmas. I noticed a girl who worked in the electronic department following me around she noticed that I noticed her and then I noticed someone else following me around. I received a text from my girlfriend that she was done with her thing so I started heading out of the electronic department to get out of the store the employee was calling for somebody else as I walked by her. As I was walking towards the long walkway to walk out of the store a gentlemen I passed the gentleman who also worked there saying "he's leaving the area."
