I wanted sesame chicken but it was not listed on their menu so I ordered the Spicy General Chicken that came with fried rice, 2 cream cheese wontons, and an egg roll. I also ordered the hot and sour soup. I asked for a small amount of sweet and sour sauce for my egg roll and she asked if I wanted crispy noodles for my soup. When I got to the window, it was $15 and that’s when I figured out that they nickel and dime you for anything extra. The crispy noodles were $1.25 and they gave me an 8 ounce container of sweet and sour and charged around $2 for that. They have on the window the sizes and prices of the noodles and sauces. If I had known this, I would’ve ordered their extra small sauce but I assumed that since I told her I needed a small amount for an egg roll that she would obviously know that I didn’t need 8 ounces. More like 2 ounces. We eat at different Chinese restaurants about once a month and this is the first time I’ve ever been charged for crispy noodles for soup and for sweet and sour for an egg roll. But anyway, the chicken was all white meat, there were only like 5 pieces but they were huge. The taste was good but it wasn’t crispy at all. Very soggy. The egg roll, rice, and wontons were mediocre at best. The hot and sour soup was probably the best or close to the best I’ve had. I wouldn’t come back for anything but the soup. It wasn’t bad but not worth what I paid vs...

I have been here a few times. Love the egg fu young. Today, I asked for the Kung Pao to come out hot enough to make a Mexican cry... Challenge accepted, and met... Absolutely the hottest Kung Pao I have ever had..
I came in expected to have left overs for breakfast... But this is going to make an awesome omelet tomorrow.
Thanks for taking the pirate challenge and not backing.off the heat!
There are not many places to choose from for Asian food. This is the closest to the Aqua Barn and I have been here a few times. It has been consistent in service and food.
If you think you have intestinal parasites get the extra hot you have them any more...

Read moreFood tastes wonderful, that hasn’t changed but the portions, holy minnow! Y’all really out here charging $11.99 for six tiny pieces of meat???? The crab Rangoon's were light on filling but super tasty, and the egg rolls were full and delicious. Tasted fresh, taste is not a problem they are consistently delicious, but I really hope this was just lazy serving rather than an example of their new portion sizes. (The messiness in below pictures is not their fault I live on a curvy road)
Edit: I gave them another chance, prices are at 12.99 for a combo and again only six pieces of meat. It’s a shame because this really did use to be one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately after spending $20 (an adult combo with 6 nuggetish size bites, and a kids meal with only three pieces) I probably won’t be eating here again. I won’t say never but that price to quantity ratio is off enough...
