Oh, my goodness! My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and like to go for more upscale dining for that. I'm so glad I chose Capone's because everything was just outstanding. We were the only customers in the place because we got there right when they opened, and Ashley took great care of us. I started with a Side Car and my husband had a craft beer to start. They're having supply issues with their beef so the KC strips were off the menu, but that was OK because I chose the filet and my husband picked the ribeye. But let me start with the side salad, which features a light Caesar dressing that was delicious. The house-made croutons were yummy as were the bruschetta tomatoes that topped the salad. The drizzle of balsamic reduction was just the icing on the cake. It was the best restaurant house salad I've ever had. My steak was perfectly rare, as requested, and perfectly seasoned as well. My husband ordered his ribeye medium rare, which it was, and was excellent also. I loved the garlic mashed potatoes, but he found them a bit bland. I almost forgot about the sauteed mushrooms and onions that we had on the side - they were well worth it. We saved a bit of our food to take home because we also wanted to sample a couple of desserts. We had the Limoncello Layer Cake, which was just delightful: lemony, light and refreshing. We also ordered the Bread Pudding, which is usually not one of my favorites because they can be so wet, but it was just right, and so was the caramel sauce that was served on it. We got a bonus of strawberries and whipped cream wishing us happy anniversary, too! All in all, it was the best meal out we've had in a very long time.

Even when Jaime was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous amount of customers walking through the door right as she unlocked the doors, she greeted everyone with a very warm welcome and a big smile on her face! She was swift with drink orders, polite, courteous and very patient to our entire party of 6. We ordered 12 oz KC, 16 oz Ribeye, Filet mignon shish ka bobs, chicken fried steak, and a pepperoni flat bread...Everything was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths with a subtle flavor that did not overwhelm the flavor of the steak itself. I also had the Mary Pickford, suggested by Jaime, and even that was flavored perfectly- not too sweet & with the perfect amount of kick to feel a little more relaxed. The dim lights, miniature table map, and dark room gave the restaurant a great smooth and relaxing feel. When the music kicked on, it really took me to another place in time. I definitely recommend to stop by and visit Jaime the next time you're in Branson, if you enjoy an amazing steak dinner!

THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I’ve traveled the country I’ve tried 100’s of steaks and this is by far the best! When I say this is the best spot for Food in Branson I mean it. Me and my wife went in a little late due to running behind, the owner told us to come on in and sat us. She was unbelievably nice. Even when we were getting seated about an hour before close. My wife got the new item on the menu pork chops and it was fantastic! I got the 16 oz prime steak and it was by far the best I’ve ever had, makes Ruth’s Chris seem like McDonalds! The owner was the sweetest person I never once felt rushed she even brought out a dessert at the end saying congratulations since we just got married! If you are thinking of not coming here because of some of the VERY UNTRUE reviews look past that I promise you won’t regret it! I’m always very transparent when it comes to food reviews I can’t praise this place enough! Thank you for such a welcoming wonderful experience! Can’t wait to come back ❤️

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Called ahead to ask if we need a reservation, which we were told we did not, current wait was 15 mins. It was Memorial Day weekend, so we were surprised. We went to the restaurant about 2 hrs later. On our way, we called several times to make sure we could still get in without a reservation. We were only able to get a busy signal. We decided to give it a shot anyway. Dropped my wife off at the door while I parked, and then went inside. The host pointed to a table and said it was ready for us. He didn't guide us to the table, didn't bring menus, or silverware, just pointed. We walked over and sat down. We waited for 20 mins before anyone came and acknowledged us. Our waitress finally came over and brought waters, then asked if we were ready to order drinks. We told her we had not received menus, she went and got them for us. She disappeared again for about 10 mins. When she returned, we ordered drinks and food. We all had to change our orders because they were out of so much. We got our order in, all but one ordered mashed potatoes as a side. Our drinks came out about 10 mins later, followed by our app shortly after. 10 mins later, we received salads, but still no silverware. Our waitress went to the kitchen, brought silverware, and we ate our salads. 15 mins later, the waitress came with a plate of chicken fried chicken and fries. One of us did order the chicken, but not the fries, so the waitress thought it was the wrong table. She walked to every other table, then came back and told us it was ours. We told her again that she had ordered mashed potatoes, not fries, to which she told us for the first time that they were out of mashed potatoes. This was the last straw, as almost our whole table ordered mashed potatoes and were never told they were out. We decided to ask for a check for the items we had already eaten/drank and go somewhere else. We were told our food would be out soon, but we again told the waitress we just wanted to pay for what we already had and would like to go. Thats when the owner came out and started berating us, saying we were stupid. We tried to explain our decision, but he refused to hear it, stating, "Fries are potatoes, you're stupid. I'm calling the cops." We told him he could call the police, and we would wait at the table for their arrival. The waitress came over after the owner walked away, still mouthing off to us. Waitress told us he wasn't calling the police, but we asked her to call them, or we would to ensure we couldn't be falsely accused of anything. After that, two of our group went out front to call and ensure the police were on the way. While outside, the owner came out and began mouthing off to them. One of our group told him he could say whatever he wanted, and the owner began accusing him of calling him all kinds of racist, and homophobic slurs. Our friend ignored him and came back to the table. Five minutes later, the owner brought out food, with 5 of the 6 plates having the wrong food. Then he shoved all of them on the table in front of us, got inches from my friend's face and said, "This is gonna be the best food you've ever had". We ignored him, and didn't touch the food. While awaiting the police, the waitress came to the table and made excuses for the owner treating us the way he had, saying he had a heart attack a year ago. Fast forward to the police's arrival. They spoke to the owner first. The officers then spoke to us and told us they have heard other stories similar to ours at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no law to protect us against bad service, so the officer's explained that we would need to pay our bills or we would be cited for theft. Understanding, we paid our tabs, then left. Go through 1 star reviews for the place from varying times, stating the owner berated them too. This place is not what it claims to be, and has no inclination to correct their mistakes, but rather make them the patron's...

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We waited for 20 minutes to get menus and water. Then they were out of everything. They brought out our meals wrongly and wouldn't take them back. Then called the police because we stated that was food we didn't order and they wouldn't give us the proper food because they were out. Not only that the OWNER continued to push ALL the food on the table despite us saying we didn't want it. AND continued to call my husband awful names. Literally this is the WORST place ever. DO NOT GO HERE.

Edit as I saw the owners post on another comment: No one at our table was being belligerent. We offered to pay for the food we ordered and ate. We informed our waitress, the wife of the owner, that he was going to go call the cops because we weren't paying for meals we didn't order and they decided they wanted to bring out without asking. She informed us that there was no need to call the cops and she would talk to him. She also apologized to us, saying that he's been under a lot of stress due to having a heart attack a year ago. She also apologized to us for his behavior and stated, "I'm sorry I had to tell him otherwise I would have gotten in trouble". She was visibly upset and we assured her many times it wasn't her fault. We were laughing with the bartender and we were talking with his wife about their life. I even hugged her when we left and told her it was okay. All after the owner shoved food at us, called my husband (who is a vet as well as his friend who was there) names and got in their faces. But, don't take our word for it. Go read the other one star reviews that say similar things. 🤷 Or go and see for yourself and just hope nothing you got was wrong. Either way, I don't think the word belligerent means what they think it means nor would we ever threaten anyone. 😂 The owner was the only one who was threatening. Edit to the owners review: That's absolutely not how it happened, but that's okay. I posted my review calmly and honestly. We tried to resolve the situation respectfully, but were met with yelling and aggression. The owner's response includes false accusations — I’ll let that speak for itself. I stand by...

So we came in with the highest hopes because of all the reviews but this was such a disappointment. We walked in and it was dead except for maybe two tables and a few bar patrons. We were told without reservations it would be hard to seat us, which was strange considering how dead it was. Ok, totally get it, but thank you so much for finding us a table. They didn't have any sirloins, at a steak house, forcing someone who wanted a steak to either have an expensive filet or a rib eye. We ordered French Onion soup for appetizers and two filets with onions and mushrooms. Our friends ordered burgers and kiddos had the grilled cheese and the flatbread pizza. My son's cheese and bread were pretty hard and he didn't eat it. Our server forgot my soup so I sat and watched as others ate bread and my husband ate his soup. My husband's cheese in his soup was rock hard and he found it very lackluster, not finishing it. Our steaks came and my husband's was unappealing and undercooked. Since they had such high standards and refused delivery of the sirloins, we expected better quality. Hubby didn't eat his. My soup came after my steak so then I had to choose to eat hot soup or hot overpriced steak. My steak was actually amazing but my mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. Our server was kind but wasn't around much so we decided instead of having things remade/sent back, we would just box stuff up and go. The children's menu was supposed to include a drink and we got charged for our friend's kids meal drink, which shouldn't have even been on the bill, let alone ours since my kid had water. I asked for the soup to be removed and she tried to get me a new one even though we had already asked for the bill. So I had to ask again for her to take it if and she disappeared. Their drink menu was lacking and I paid $20 for a glass of wine when a bottle of the stuff is $11. We won't be back. It was terribly disappointing to say the least. $200 for two steaks and a kids meal and two adult beverages was outrageous for...
