Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Called ahead to ask if we need a reservation, which we were told we did not, current wait was 15 mins. It was Memorial Day weekend, so we were surprised. We went to the restaurant about 2 hrs later. On our way, we called several times to make sure we could still get in without a reservation. We were only able to get a busy signal. We decided to give it a shot anyway. Dropped my wife off at the door while I parked, and then went inside. The host pointed to a table and said it was ready for us. He didn't guide us to the table, didn't bring menus, or silverware, just pointed. We walked over and sat down. We waited for 20 mins before anyone came and acknowledged us. Our waitress finally came over and brought waters, then asked if we were ready to order drinks. We told her we had not received menus, she went and got them for us. She disappeared again for about 10 mins. When she returned, we ordered drinks and food. We all had to change our orders because they were out of so much. We got our order in, all but one ordered mashed potatoes as a side. Our drinks came out about 10 mins later, followed by our app shortly after. 10 mins later, we received salads, but still no silverware. Our waitress went to the kitchen, brought silverware, and we ate our salads. 15 mins later, the waitress came with a plate of chicken fried chicken and fries. One of us did order the chicken, but not the fries, so the waitress thought it was the wrong table. She walked to every other table, then came back and told us it was ours. We told her again that she had ordered mashed potatoes, not fries, to which she told us for the first time that they were out of mashed potatoes. This was the last straw, as almost our whole table ordered mashed potatoes and were never told they were out. We decided to ask for a check for the items we had already eaten/drank and go somewhere else. We were told our food would be out soon, but we again told the waitress we just wanted to pay for what we already had and would like to go. Thats when the owner came out and started berating us, saying we were stupid. We tried to explain our decision, but he refused to hear it, stating, "Fries are potatoes, you're stupid. I'm calling the cops." We told him he could call the police, and we would wait at the table for their arrival. The waitress came over after the owner walked away, still mouthing off to us. Waitress told us he wasn't calling the police, but we asked her to call them, or we would to ensure we couldn't be falsely accused of anything. After that, two of our group went out front to call and ensure the police were on the way. While outside, the owner came out and began mouthing off to them. One of our group told him he could say whatever he wanted, and the owner began accusing him of calling him all kinds of racist, and homophobic slurs. Our friend ignored him and came back to the table. Five minutes later, the owner brought out food, with 5 of the 6 plates having the wrong food. Then he shoved all of them on the table in front of us, got inches from my friend's face and said, "This is gonna be the best food you've ever had". We ignored him, and didn't touch the food. While awaiting the police, the waitress came to the table and made excuses for the owner treating us the way he had, saying he had a heart attack a year ago. Fast forward to the police's arrival. They spoke to the owner first. The officers then spoke to us and told us they have heard other stories similar to ours at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no law to protect us against bad service, so the officer's explained that we would need to pay our bills or we would be cited for theft. Understanding, we paid our tabs, then left. Go through 1 star reviews for the place from varying times, stating the owner berated them too. This place is not what it claims to be, and has no inclination to correct their mistakes, but rather make them the patron's...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would. We waited for 20 minutes to get menus and water. Then they were out of everything. They brought out our meals wrongly and wouldn't take them back. Then called the police because we stated that was food we didn't order and they wouldn't give us the proper food because they were out. Not only that the OWNER continued to push ALL the food on the table despite us saying we didn't want it. AND continued to call my husband awful names. Literally this is the WORST place ever. DO NOT GO HERE.
Edit as I saw the owners post on another comment: No one at our table was being belligerent. We offered to pay for the food we ordered and ate. We informed our waitress, the wife of the owner, that he was going to go call the cops because we weren't paying for meals we didn't order and they decided they wanted to bring out without asking. She informed us that there was no need to call the cops and she would talk to him. She also apologized to us, saying that he's been under a lot of stress due to having a heart attack a year ago. She also apologized to us for his behavior and stated, "I'm sorry I had to tell him otherwise I would have gotten in trouble". She was visibly upset and we assured her many times it wasn't her fault. We were laughing with the bartender and we were talking with his wife about their life. I even hugged her when we left and told her it was okay. All after the owner shoved food at us, called my husband (who is a vet as well as his friend who was there) names and got in their faces. But, don't take our word for it. Go read the other one star reviews that say similar things. 𤡠Or go and see for yourself and just hope nothing you got was wrong. Either way, I don't think the word belligerent means what they think it means nor would we ever threaten anyone. đ The owner was the only one who was threatening. Edit to the owners review: That's absolutely not how it happened, but that's okay. I posted my review calmly and honestly. We tried to resolve the situation respectfully, but were met with yelling and aggression. The owner's response includes false accusations â Iâll let that speak for itself. I stand by...
Read moreSo we came in with the highest hopes because of all the reviews but this was such a disappointment. We walked in and it was dead except for maybe two tables and a few bar patrons. We were told without reservations it would be hard to seat us, which was strange considering how dead it was. Ok, totally get it, but thank you so much for finding us a table. They didn't have any sirloins, at a steak house, forcing someone who wanted a steak to either have an expensive filet or a rib eye. We ordered French Onion soup for appetizers and two filets with onions and mushrooms. Our friends ordered burgers and kiddos had the grilled cheese and the flatbread pizza. My son's cheese and bread were pretty hard and he didn't eat it. Our server forgot my soup so I sat and watched as others ate bread and my husband ate his soup. My husband's cheese in his soup was rock hard and he found it very lackluster, not finishing it. Our steaks came and my husband's was unappealing and undercooked. Since they had such high standards and refused delivery of the sirloins, we expected better quality. Hubby didn't eat his. My soup came after my steak so then I had to choose to eat hot soup or hot overpriced steak. My steak was actually amazing but my mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. Our server was kind but wasn't around much so we decided instead of having things remade/sent back, we would just box stuff up and go. The children's menu was supposed to include a drink and we got charged for our friend's kids meal drink, which shouldn't have even been on the bill, let alone ours since my kid had water. I asked for the soup to be removed and she tried to get me a new one even though we had already asked for the bill. So I had to ask again for her to take it if and she disappeared. Their drink menu was lacking and I paid $20 for a glass of wine when a bottle of the stuff is $11. We won't be back. It was terribly disappointing to say the least. $200 for two steaks and a kids meal and two adult beverages was outrageous for...
