Las Casitas Branson — Restaurant in Branson

We are a big family that loves Mexican food. Mexican restaurants are our go to when we eat out. We chose this place based off of the excellent reviews. It’s very small inside, that wasn’t a problem. There were flys flying around and that was a little off putting. The staff were very nice and attentive. The salsa was not good at all. We were beyond disappointed. It tasted like tap water blended together with tomatoes and onions. We thought oh well maybe the food would be fantastic. It was not. None of us liked our food. Way too much cilantro and onions and we like cilantro and onions. We were so disappointed with each of our choices. I left there sad, because this was the last night of our vacation and we had waited all week to go eat at a restaurant. Oh, and they serve zero alcohol, so no margaritas for the Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t that big of deal but disappointing nonetheless. I went off the reviews and left there very upset with myself for my decision to go there. They also don’t serve fajitas or chimichangas there so just beware. I’m glad so many others found it enjoyable. My family, the family that loves eating...

let's start with the food, at the beginning when you enter you immediately get a warm welcome. the food was honestly amazing I had the Chori Pollo Burrito myself. I asked the waiter which burrito was the best and he asked all sorts of questions to choose one, but in a good way. when we got the food it just looked amazing. when I tasted it it was even better it was tasty it was delicious and after all the questions it was exactly what I had in mind. it was perfect I couldn't stop saying how delicious it was after I finished the dish, besides the food the service was so good they were sweet and neat. we were really well taken care of. it was also really clean inside it felt clean and looked really clean everything was so well organized. my grades and everything are based on the moment we were there and it is quiet and still at the moment. it is that we are from the Netherlands but otherwise I would definitely go here more often....

Based on the high reviews, we decided to give this place a try & it did not disappoint. The food was SO fresh & flavorful. The guacamole was phenomenal. We ordered an Asada Bowl, which was huge. They did not skimp on the meat. We also ordered 2 soft shell tacos, one Carnitas & one Asada. Both were good, but my favorite was the Carnitas. Seasoned really well. Don't be scared of "authentic Mexican" because, to me, that sounds spicy. Neither entree we ordered was spicy, as I don't do much above mild. They do have free chips & salsa. The chips were on the thick side, which is not my preference, but they were ok. The salsa they bring is very mild but flavorful. If you ask for the hot, be prepared 🔥 🥵. The service was good & the staff was very attentive. This place is a little hard to find, as there is no signage indicating it is located in The Victorian Village...
