Worst place ever! 2 visits in 1, my first and last. We arrived just before 9pm on a Friday night, place was pretty dead aside from 1 or 2 tables and maybe 8 bar guests and ourselves, a couple. The little brunette was running around like a chicken with its head cut off busy working so we were patient as we waited about 10 minutes for a drink. I ordered a house vodka and sugar free redbull, my friend ordered a beer(bottled). We sat there for another 30 minutes watching as the blonde stood there with her arms crossed playing on her phone while the little brunette was stocking and doing everything. The blonde never even came within 10 feet of us! We sat there starving just waiting on someone to come take our order. After 30 minutes of being invisible, not even being able to get our check so we can go somewhere else that will actually serve us, I wrote a note as I keep a pad and pen in my purse. The note says as follows.. Moonshiners bartenders You took my card and made us a drink, but since you wouldn't come back we decided to go somewhere else. Cash me out, NO TIP! Thanks! Then signed my name. We walked out of the door at 9:43 pm. They took out $50 out of my account the second they put my card on file before even ordering a drink. Well folks just got the total of my bill! I don't know what they put on my bill or how much of a tip they added but when did a well vodka drink and a bottle of beer cost $18.92? We left there went to Hits tap room. We got basically an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks, the same drinks we had at moonshiners and the bill was like $55 total! Why was I charged $20 here for 2 drinks? Needless to say, as soon as the place opens and I can speak to the manager/owner, I have a few things to say! I took a picture of the note as well as a picture of the note with my glass on the bar! I didn't walk out! I couldn't get service or even a check to pay! So any charges added, aside from the drinks, is theft and I intend on pressing charges against the bartenders and establishment! DO NOT GO HERE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! This year BEST Group LLC booked the Crown Royal Bar for our annual Christmas party. We contacted the Owner, Sonny, he was very helpful and available to anything we may need leading up to the event. He even had us choose items from the menu to print our own special menu for the evening of the event. This was also the night of the SEC championship so a few of our guests wanted to come in early for the game! They were completely accommodating to us coming early, setting up, and enjoying the game before the party even really got started. All the TVs and the overhead speakers had the game on, it wasn’t overbearing or too loud at all. Great game day viewing spot! The Crown Bar itself is the perfect setting for hosting events. The layout is sophisticated with a vintage cigar bar feel, couches and low tables, with a full bar and plenty of seating, - it still gives that fun modern bar setting with pool tables and a dance floor available. The food was phenomenal - several in our group ordered the spicy sirloin (my personal favorite) and the Herb Chicken. Throughout the night we ordered Queso, Steak bites, and the German pretzel which was a huge hit. Brittany was our bar tender and she did an amazing job. Full of personality, super attentive, and so much fun, she fit right in with our group and kept the drinks flowing. Brittany and New GM Devan both are the sweetest ladies, they consistently made sure we had everything we needed and helped us in taking group pictures. Sonny was even there to check in on things! We all had an amazing night - myself and Jeremy (BEST president) are familiar with Moonshiners, but the rest of our group were first timers and they were all very impressed - they have said they will be returning soon! On the night of 02/29/2020, a group of friends and I, approximately 7 people, showed up to moonshiners in braselton to buy drinks, play pool, and have a good time. There was a 5 dollar cover charge, supposedly for a band. We immediately turned and walked away. We did not want to hear the band, we just wanted to play pool, darts, and drink beer. Also, approximately 14 other individuals turned and walked away as well. It’s an $8 an hour charge to play pool, roughly $6.50 on average per drink, and many people get more than one drink. They turned down us, a group of 7, (7x5=35), and 14 others (14x5=70), all in all that’s 105 dollars in cover charges. If you take only our group without the cover, only purchasing 1 drink and 1 hour of pool, that is (7x6.5=45.5) add the 8 for pool and it’s 53.5. Literally more than half. Now imagine adding the other 14 individuals that walked away (it would’ve been 160.5) AND THATS JUST EVERYONE GETTING ONE DRINK! just in that small instance of time they lost so much money, there is no telling how many people have turned that place down tonight. We are very familiar customers and are well acquainted with the staff. To be denied entry as regular as we are, is absurd, no matter who the band is.

There are many things that could’ve been done. The pool room could’ve been closed off and those people not been charged a cover. The management could’ve let everyone come in no cover, and gave a percentage of the night’s income to the band. Horrible management tactics when it comes to earnings.

We even asked a bouncer if we could come play pool because we did not care about the band, and he was rude as hell and said “after 7, 5 dollars.” No customer service skills. All in all horrible experience, really going to reconsider...
