Sarazen’s Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Braselton

Felt like I was on an episode of Bar Rescue. Accidentally came during a golf tournament - literally hundreds of people on the course and yet only had ONE person working at the restaurant / bar. She was obviously overwhelmed as a steady stream of golfers came in to get drinks. Service was pretty much non-existent even when we sat at the bar. Finally a second employee showed up but she was entirely unhelpful. She didn't make a single drink, didn't bring us silverware or water, didn't bring us the check; just stood there unless she was told exactly what to do. Finally she was told to get out new cups for drinks to be put in, which she did by picking up the cups with her fingers on the inside - glad I didn't drink any of those. Finally a few more employees appeared and yet it was still the first employee doing 90% of the work. This restaurant obviously needs better management who can actually staff well and train...

Went for lunch with a group. Our server and the bartender were great, but Diane the elder blonde lady is rude and very inhospitable. Thankfully she wasn’t our server. Everyone were complaining they were cold so she came over without announcing what she was doing and reached over me ( I sat right in front of the thermostat) and changed the temp by 1 degree! Didn’t push the chair back in which she’d moved. Then I overheard her say another one of them want coffee. She doesn’t give Chateau Elon vibes; she gives diner vibes. I spoke to a gentleman who asked for feedback, but unfortunately he offered excuses and said she was the most requested server. I find that very hard to believe. Food was subpar at best. Burger had zero seasoning while the fries were salty, but you...

We stopped here for lunch. It looked great and we had a great table outside.

It took the server 10 minutes to come to the table and take our order. Then it took over 10 minutes to get a glass of water (and we had to ask twice). We ordered a pretzel appetizer, which took over 20 minutes to get. (On a side note it was really good)

My wife ordered soup and salad while I ordered a cheeseburger. After 45 minutes, she received her soup. And after another 15 minutes, we never received anything else.

We finally got up, asked the bartender for the check (because we couldn't find our server). The only good thing was they said not to worry about the check.
