Juiced By Shic — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I wanted to write this review once a page had come up for the Palos Heights location (only because I've not been to their Midlothian location) but I don't see one so here goes...

First, I would like to note that not only is the establishment beautiful but the people are just as beautiful, if not more so.

That morning, I was sent on an errand for my manager around 8:30AM and as I was leaving the parking lot of that errand, I saw Juiced by Shic across the street and darted right over. I walked in and was greeted by both Antonio and Needa. They were both friendly and seemed genuinely happy; not like when you have to paste a smile on for work. Anyway, I tell Needa I've never been there before and ask what she recommends. She tells me her favorite is Matcha Made In Heaven, so I ordered it.

I am really big on drinks, all drinks, if you have a special kind of juice or water – I want it. So trust me when I say - this was the BEST smoothie I've ever had and I have had many a smoothie in my life. As I left, I told them I'd be back for lunch. And I did not lie...

For lunch, I ordered another Matcha Made In Heaven as well as their Avocado and Cucumber on Rye. This time I was re-greeted by Needa’s smiling face and Syn who was just as wonderful! My friends, when I tell you that this is exactly the type of place I've been waiting for in this area of deep fried and over processed items... this is exactly what I needed. No offense to the handful of burgers and fries places in the area but... I needed freshness, I needed color, I needed real food, and I needed to taste things that weren't covered in grease. People, I needed Juiced By Shic.

This is my new favorite place and I plan to keep coming back for more! Thank you for coming to...

The establishment is cute and welcoming however, the young man at the counter took way too long for an açaí bowl, smoothie and piece of toast. Not to mention rung me up for an additional smoothie I did not ask for. I was in and out over half hour slowly losing patience but I kept it cool because he was a nice young man trying but service was extremely slow for smoothies and bread. I was the only one there and felt like I was in a long line. I didn’t like the “açaí bowl” at all! It was very loose and extremely sweet with looked like tons of syrup included amongst other things. Texture should’ve been smooth and lighter in color. I had to toss it! I was looking all night for a açaí bowl but that’s not it. The avocado toast wasn’t good either. I liked the bread by itself but the spread...

Smells delicious soon as you walk in. Fresh fruits and veggies. Owner has a soap station in there as well.

I have to admit. I’m disappointed, the place is dirty inside and out. The farther you go the messier it gets. How? It’s a place where fresh fruits and veggies are being handled.

The girl helping me that day was very nice. They seemed too busy to acknowledge.

Much gossip and not enough service.

I purchased the ginger shot……. I had to throw the whole thing away 😔 you can’t taste the ginger. I believe they add oregano. It does not go together! Juices in refrigerator look old. Will be considering going somewhere...
