I recently visited your Oak Forest location around 8pm on 11/11/2023 and had an incredibly frustrating experience that left me extremely disappointed. Upon entering, I noticed one of the employees engrossed in a phone call, seemingly working on a previous order that went wrong. This wouldn't have been an issue if they had acknowledged me or prioritized our needs, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
A couple who arrived before me took the time to look at the menu before joining the line. It was quite frustrating to witness the employee finish their phone call without saying a word or even acknowledging our presence. It felt as if our time and patronage were not valued at all.
To make matters worse, the employee proceeded to remake the incorrect order without washing their hands or wearing gloves. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, especially considering there were at least five other employees within eyesight. It was discouraging to witness such a lack of attention to basic hygiene standards.
As I waited for the order to be remade, the person behind me asked if anyone was working the register. Instead of a polite response, an older lady employee rudely replied that no one was working the register at the moment, while the other five employees stood idly by. This level of indifference from the staff was both shocking and disappointing.
At this point, the couple behind me decided to leave, clearly fed up with the situation. Finally, the employee who hadn't washed his hands handed me my order, which I had made online. However, they didn't even acknowledge the extensive wait I had endured.
Given the complete lack of professionalism, poor hygiene practices, and overall disregard for customer service, I have made the decision that this will be my last time ordering from this particular location. It's truly disheartening to witness such a decline in quality and customer care. We only ate one slice each as the pizza tasted weird and didn't taste right at all!! He woke up at 3am the next morning w/ sharp & intense stomach cramps/pain. He was on the toilet on and off Nonstop from 3am until 4pm Friday (not exaggerating) pooping and vomiting. He had food poison and wasn't able to even go to work due to not being able to leave the bathroom. The guy who answered the phone said “Yea we only have one driver so....” I asked why they couldn’t just call me to let me know and he chuckled then said they were in the middle of it and were going to get to me. Then he said I could come pick it up in 20 minutes. When I asked for a refund he said that would probably take a few days to get back from my bank. I asked then to speak with a manager and this guy put me on hold for 5 minutes so I hung up. I then called the corporate office and explained everything. They seemed understanding and informed me they’d call me back at some point but couldn’t give a definitive time frame.
