I enjoy Arby's usually. It's one of my favorite national fast food chains. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this particular location did not really meet my expectations. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but in this case I'm hoping that by sharing my story that ownership will take corrective action.
The good: Our sandwiches were delicious and mine seemed to have more roast beef than I expected. The young man who took our order was extremely helpful and professional.
The bad: Most of our curly fries tasted horrible. My wife quit eating hers after just a few while I ate roughly a third of mine hoping they would get better. They didn't. More concerning was the lack of safety precautions being taken by most of the employees. While the young man at the counter and the woman at the drive-thru were masked and gloved, it appeared they were the only ones. To be fair, the woman dressed like a manager wore a mask, but it was pulled down under her chin exposing her nose and mouth. Another employee from the food prep area appeared to be completely unmasked. Further, it appeared that, while the store tried to social distance by limiting seating to certain tables, no effort was made to disinfect tables after they had been used, at least while we were there. Finally, something my wife ate caused her to vomit roughly 90 minutes later.
I gave 3 stars because my concerns with the food could have been just an off day. Sometimes a fast food meal just isn't as good one day as it would be on another. I'm more concerned about the lack of safety/hygiene. While I understand that the State of Georgia has different COVID rules than my home state, we ate two other fast food meals while on our overnight trip and both of those locations (a KFC & a McDonald's) were taking the precautions that this Arby's were not. Read moreMy boyfriend and I came here last night thinking we would get our food quickly. We were originally going to eat at Zaxby’s but the line was too long. We decided to stop here since it was only two people ahead of us, so we can go home. We were sadly mistaken thinking it would be quick service. A line was formed behind us as well. We ordered our food and paid at the window. The guy who cashed us out told us our food was cooking. We were told it’d only take about 4 mins and to park beside a Honda. It took way over 4 mins. They cleared the whole entire line and still hadn’t brought our food out til about 3-4 mins later after I got back in the car. It took about 15-20 minutes to even get our food. When I checked the sack I seen we only had one fry. So I went in the inside and let them know I only got one fry and it was supposed to be two. The order taker claimed we only ordered one but it was supposed to be 2 total. She never rung up the other fry when I checked the receipt, so I had to pay for a fry that she was supposed to charge me for in the first place. I had to wait for the fry to cook which took more time. We should’ve never gone here if I had known it would take that long to receive our food. I wouldn’t even had to walk in the inside & wait additional time had she rung up the other fry in the first place when we first ordered. It shouldn’t take 15-20 minutes to give someone their order while you clear a whole line and not give them one apology for waiting that long. Very unacceptable. I will never...
Read moreI truly can’t say enough good things about this location. I’ve been coming here for years. For over 18 years if I’m not mistaken. From now and as far back as I remember this location has always been great and embraced the local community and its southern hospitality. Each and every time I’ve visited here I have always been welcomed and valued. Any time my order has been incorrect in the slightest it is usually caught before I hit the window and corrected with accommodations. I always feel valued because in the rare occasion something is wrong with an order and I do mean rare it is made up to me by adding an extra drink or something of the value. The willingness to always make things right and to serve the customer in the most honest way possible makes the world of difference. I am a health food fanatic and can always make the excuse to fit this Arbys into my schedule for the week. This location and its staff have always been friendly, welcoming, accommodating and professional. Star has been at this location herself for years as well and has a pretty well trained staff. I’d like to give kudos to her and the staff at this location for a great experience every time.
