Grandma's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Bremen

A glass of tea was accidently spilled on me, chest, lap ran down my legs into my shoes... Ok I went in restroom and took my shirt off and put on a jacket... Went back to table, ordered Hamburger steak with onions, green beans, okra, and a roll.... Few minutes passed, she brought our food, hamburger steak was not even warm, okra was cold, roll was hard, green beans were barely warm... I told them it was all cold, wasn't going to order anything else. Then the heavy set waitress says we could just leave, because I had only cause problems since I walked in!!!! EXCUSE ME!!! WAS I SUPPOSE TO BE HAPPY ? BEING COVERED IN STICKY TEA, FOOD COLD!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NASTY!!!! A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO MY ENEMY....... UNLESS SOME CHANGES WERE MADE, ESPECIALLY WAITRESSES!!!!!!!! WANTED TO ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THE STEAK JUST BEING TAKEN OFF THE GRILL.... WELL IF THAT WAS THE CASE , I WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PUT IT IN MY MOUTH, WITHOUT BURNING MY TONGUE........ I'VE WAITRESSED BEFORE AND I KNOW ACCIDENTS HAPPEN, BUT NO EXCUSS FOR THE RUDENESS...

First I want to say that the waitress was a wonderful person and the food is pretty cheap! BUT my husband found a long black hair in his food and also an eyebrow/eyelash hair in his food then I looked over and my French toast also had hair in it! I totally lost my appetite and so did my kids. The French toast was not cooked right the bread was mush, no texture, The sausage patty was over cooked it was like a brick. We did end up paying for breakfast we didn’t wanna make a scene, the only good thing about this place was the waitress and the Coke even the coffee was very watery and gross!! My son had T-bone steak and eggs for breakfast and they poured white gravy all over it it looked pretty nasty, so he also lost his appetite! needless to say none of us ate our food we left as soon as we could… if I could I would give this place only 1/2 a start because the waitress was...

I came in with my dad for his birthday/Christmas lunch. It is a small 'hole in the wall' restaurant (my favourite kind) with a friendly, very polite staff. They were out of a couple of menu items (no complaints considering it was Christmas Eve) it did not take long for our meals to arrive and they did not disappoint. The only part of the meal I did not like was the coleslaw, but it is only because I am kinda picky and like mine shredded. If you like the mom and pop type places you should most definitely give this...
