Bagel Street Cafe — Restaurant in Brentwood

The coffee was tasty and my daughter liked her hot chocolate but the woman in front was unnecessarily, unapologetically hurried in our exchange.

Place wasn't busy when I went one a.m. with my daughter but the woman at the counter was very rushed. I felt rushed, as Id never been there and didn't get much time to look at they're offerings. Ultimately I only ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate. She overfilled my daughters hot chocolate cup but didn't inform me or pour any out. I did not realize this until she slid the cup to me instructing me to close it and I followed the instruction, assuming she was just trying to finish my coffee. I had heard her say "oh" in slight exclamation before she gave me the cup but didn't connect what happened until I pushed the lid down and hot chocolate came pouring out of the spout on the lid. It basically got everywhere, to which she sighed "I got it" like I went out of my way to make a mess on her counter. I couldn't tell what the rush was about and tried not to assume, so I gave her the Benny D, left a tip and was on my way but the encounter was off-putting and I dont think...

My wife came home with bagel sandwiches.she commented the women who served her seemed annoyed.well I started eating sandwich and bit into a toothpick.this wasn't the toothpick holding sandwich together.it was placed in middle of sandwich.i might have chalked it up to negligence until I discovered my wife's sandwich had the same thing!!obviously done intentionally and maliciously.we drove back to confront this women but they closed an hour early.i will be pressing charges.dont eat here .my...

This is the second time I’ve come before the posted closing time of 3 pm and walked up to the locked doors. Which is super disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite lunch spots growing up, to the point where my first stop after getting my braces off was to come here for a bagel.
