Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Brentwood

Waited in the drive thru line for 30-40minutes total. Got to the call box, revived no assistant to place my order. Waited about 10 minutes with no help, so I assumed the reason why their was such a slow progression in the line was because they were having technical difficulties. I moved forward in line as it was moving and I didn't want to make everyone else wait any longer as we were all there waiting for 25 minutes. I continued to wait until I got to the pay window. Once there I was asked to pay for an order that wasn't mine. I told them I never got the chance to place my order although I waited at the call box. All tho I explained the situation, I was asked to go to the back of the line even tho I had already waited a total 30-40 minutes at that point in line.

I just wanted onion rings and a drink. I wish I was exaggerating on the time, I would have left if I had the chance earlier but was stuck between cars. It was disappointing being patient in the line just to go back around and told to try again. Idk how the staff gets notified when there is a vehicle at the call box but I was not about to attempt it going...

Worst service everrrrrr!! We came here at 9:40pm and stayed in the drive through line until 10:40pm just for them to tell us they were closed. There were approximately 12 cars behind us so we were stuck. I walked to the window and spoke to the lady Laura at the window she was rude and said to that this was the managers fault. I asked if they could tell the cars behind us to back up since we were stuck and they refused. I’m not understanding how a 24 hour jack in the box closes at 10pm. I’m also not understanding how they couldn’t be professionals and block off the drive through if it’s closed. I will not be back to the place and can’t believe they are still in business at this rate. Looking at reviews below others had the same complaint 6 months ago and nothing was never done smh. Get a better system in place...

My friend changed his mind about wanting to get something so when at the window i asked for another burrito, and the heavyset fellow at the window proceeded to scold my drive through etiquette, saying it was the “holy grail of rude things to do in the drive through” and told me there were two cars behind me ( which, on my way out i saw there was one truck that had just pulled up as i left) and he continued to harass my request asking again and again if “i really wanted to get the burrito”.
