⭐️⭐️⭐️UPDATE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT/OWNERS/WHATEVER CHANGED (have to deduct 2 stars): Have tried to go 2x recently, once with a large group! The hours had apparently changed from what was on Google (fine) because we went with the small group and it was just locked. When we went back with the larger group for my bday, they were apparently closing right then even though were supposed to be open another 1.5-2hrs and when we asked if they were open and 2 employees quite rudely and abruptly told us they decided to close early. So we got sushi elsewhere but there was zero customer service in the interaction...no explanation...no 'thank you for trying come again.' They didn't want us at all. Since then a good friend we introduced to Kyuzou went back and said the quality had gone down hill heavily. So now we found another spot and won't be returning here.🤷♀️😔
5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We always love getting sushi together 😊🍣, and Kyuzou has become a fav. Consistently good quality, quick turn-around for rolls, and fun flavor combos. We especially love the Rainbow & Dragon rolls, but my kids want anything with tobiko (small fish eggs) on the top! 🤤😋 So much so that this is what my now-9 year old chose again for her actual birthday meal!
Service is friendly and prompt, but not at all chatty. Expect to ask a question and get a short (but friendly) concise answer. Can be unnerving if not expected, but on multiple visits have experienced this curtness and realized it's just the way this restaurant is ☺️🤷🏻♀️ So we highly recommend this place and do plan to return...at least definitely for my son's birthday in April!

Read more*Great Staff, Fresh Ingredients, Great Atmosphere * My husband and I have made this our new go to spot for sushi and have been coming here for a couple of months now. I have a lot of food allergies and so its hard to find a place with a simple menu or fresh ingredients. Everything taste fresh like its supposed to and it is some of the best sushi I have ever had. The staff here is really great too, so nice and friendly and the chefs really look like they know what they are doing and look like they are having fun doing it. You can't buy that kind of friendly and passionate atmosphere. Also the food looks great! Its stunning and worth the price. The wait can be long on busy days, but thats because everything is being handmade and is fresh so it's well worth the wait! Also they use real crab in their rolls! Not that fake crud everyone else tries to pass off as crab! Looking forward to eating here for the forseeable future, our new...
Read moreThis place is pretty close to the house, so I had high hopes. We have been there twice but I didn't rate the first time because it was during their soft open. The staff is friendly but not very organized. It took several minutes to be offered drinks and the empty glasses sat until we specifically asked for a refill.
Normally, I am a fan of a limited menu because it usually allows a level of perfection and focus difficult to obtain with massive selections. However, if you have a limited menu you should nail every dish. The tempura shrimp were not bad but were a little bland and oily for me. The spicy tuna roll was good but not spicy and the tuna mix was a bit mushy. The Alicia roll seems a bit over thought...it would be better without the rather heavy French sauce. This isn't a bad place and it wasn't a bad experience...but for my dollars, there are better sushi joints in...
