Cielo Mar Tierra — Restaurant in Brentwood

Let me start by saying that their food is really good! But 2 times out of 10 it's not as flavorful. Almost as if it was reheated food from days ago. It's a shame because if it wasn't for greed, this would be the perfect restaurant.

Unfortunately, the person running this place prefers to reheat old food. Today's dish was the worst I have ever tasted in the 25 years I been coming here.

I recently visited cielo mar y tierra (Brentwood Ca) and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The service left much to be desired—I had to repeatedly request water refills, which should be a basic expectation in any dining experience. Additionally, I specifically requested that my food not be spicy, but it was served with more heat than I could handle. While I understand that mistakes happen, the lack of attention to detail and responsiveness negatively impacted my overall experience. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve its service and communication...

I had heard so many good things about this place that I had to see for myself if what I had heard was well founded. Went in for lunch and was greeted by a very friendly and efficient waitress. Waited about 5 minutes, and my to go beef burrito was ready. Took it to my truck and proceeded to hunker down on it. Took one bite, no meat. Took a second bite, no meat. Took a third bite and still no meat. It was then that I unwrapped my beef burrito to discover that it was mostly rice and beens. I had been had. There will not be a repeat...
