This was my first time here. I love little shops and love to support local. The diner is small and clean. They definitely have their regulars, but being an outsider you do not get that friendly family atmosphere that everyone else seems to get. The server was nice, but not very attentive. I had a cup of tea and asked for a refill. He brought me a pitcher of hot water, but the pitcher was disgustingly dirty. It had dust and grease on it. There was no attempt to even try and wipe it off. The inside was also dirty and had a ring of black grime I tried to wipe off. He never offered me another tea bag either. He did refill the other two people's drinks I was with but that was only because he dropped the food off and they were out of their beverages. The food was okay. My one friend got the Hank's Special and did enjoy his food. I ordered the burrito and it was okay. The eggs were overcooked and there were no home fries in the burrito. My son did enjoy his but said it lacked seasoning a bit, and my daughter Loved her pancakes and bacon. I cannot recall the name of my son's dish and mine I believe was called south of the border. I wish them good luck, but will probably...

I usually do not care for restaurant coffee because its always a disappointment. The java here though was great and very hot thankfully. I love breakfast joints and this place did not disappoint. Its a cute, cozy little place that is warm and welcoming. We were greeted by two friendly women when we walked in. The menu is basic with the usual breakfast fare and a few unusual items. I chose the “build your own” omelette and my daughter had a southwestern style breakfast burrito. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh and hot. I am not a picky eater so it wasn’t a deal breaker but some may not have liked the crisp/overdone eggs on the omelette. It was very good though. I had sausage, tomato, and pepper-jack cheese in it. The burrito was perfectly wrapped, hot and delicious. Our experience here was great all around. Good food (reasonably priced), great service, and cozy atmosphere. Its like going on a visit to grammas or moms house and having their home cooked food. We will...
