Amish Yard, LLC — Local services in Brentwood

This should be a 5 star but they need to improve in one area. To start with, the furniture is of excellent quality. I ordered 4 bar chairs and the 60 inch round table with 6 bar top chairs. This was a large order of nearly $8,000. I did not realize that this order would ship from different manufacturers (Berlin Gardens and Lux Craft) showing up at different times. I did contact customer service and they were very responsive but told me that they had no way to track the orders with tracking information and asked me to contact the third party (2 different shipping companies) myself to seek more accurate delivery times. These orders require sign for delivery and not knowing a date or time is problematic for the homeowners awaiting a delivery with no tracking. This was the largest struggle for me as a consumer not knowing when to be there for delivery and having to plan around unknown delivery times due to no tracking. I have to say that delivery was sooner than estimated (5-6 weeks on the Berlin garden item) that arrived in 3 weeks. At one point communication with support told me one day for delivery and transport company told me a week sooner so the company suggested I cancel and reorder so I could ensure I’d be there at delivery which made no sense to me? I was able to rearrange my out of state travels to be there for the early delivery and am pleased at how quickly things arrived. Just amazing beautiful furniture! The furniture was well packed and looks beautiful but the whole shipping and inability to track the delivery was very frustrating. Plus the two delivery dates due to two different manufacturers was a bit misleading at order. I thought that the order was coming from Amish Yard as the manufacturer and shipping store. This is not the case, Amish Yard sells the products that ship from different places. Overall the product is excellent, but shipping and communication could use some...

The furniture is beautiful and the price was great-we were able to get 20% off our order making it a good deal for us to be able to purchase. However I only give 4 stars due to the long shipping time and poor customer service. It took 3.5 weeks for it to ship, which for us put the delivery date right in the middle of when we were set to be out of town. I reached out to customer after it had been a couple of weeks after placing the order to find out shipping information (which that information was nowhere to be found in their FAQ’s or confirmation email-there was only one obscure place to find shipping info, but that was not visible unless you clicked a very specific place) only to find out it was going to ship close to when we were leaving out of town. I asked if we had any options of expediting or delaying shipping after explaining our situation. The answer was simply no, they could not help in any way. Then when the delivery company called to deliver, they were very put out to have to deliver our packages 3 days later than they wanted to. They wanted to just leave it in our driveway! We are extremely pleased with everything and love our new lake furniture. The colors are just as we expected and make our space so bright and cheerful. We ordered a white glider with console, a yellow chaise lounge chair and four folding adirondack chairs in red, mango, blue and lime.

Communication with the delivery driver was great. Since I was not at our lake house at the time, I was able to speak to the driver prior to him leaving the large pallet of boxes and he put them in the exact spot I requested. He even texted me a photo before he left.

We were thrilled that the foldable adirondack chairs came fully assembled! Putting together the chaise lounge chair and the glider did take a while and the instructions for the glider in particular could have been more clear. Note that the glider definitely requires 3 people to assemble as it is quite large and heavy.

Once we got it all set up, we relaxed and enjoyed both the appearance and the comfort of our Berlin furniture from Amish Yard! We will definitely recommend highly to all and we’re confident the pieces will be around for many years...
