It's my first time here and it's very inviting when entering. The place is big inside and on the left side you can purchase meats to cook at home. On the right side you can order cooked food to eat. The menu is pretty big and I wanted to order everything. Denise, who helped me with my order, was super nice and patient with me. She helped me with the hot food order and the fresh meats to cook at home. While I was waiting, I used the restroom, and it was decent and clean. They had a lot of different sauces to choose from. To be honest, I originally but the regular or like sweet and tangy sauce at the grocery store. There were so many they had that I wanted it all, lol. They not only had bbq sauces, they had marinades and seasonings as well. I ordered:
Kinder's Famous ball tip steak sandwich with tequila lime French fries - This was amazing and really all your need. The meat was tender and flavorful. Fries were crunchy and well seasoned.
3 way combo - brisket, tri tip, and hot link with regular potato salad and mac n cheese. The meats were all delicious and so tender. The hot link is spicy, in my opinion. It has a kick to it for sure. I kind of wished it had bread that came with it. Help balance out all the flavors.
Pulled pork loaded tots - this was easily a meal on its own. Each bite was crunchy and flavorful. The pulled pork was delicious, I'm surprised they don't sell this, by itself.
Applewood smoked bacon - This was a thick cut bacon that doesn't shrink too much once cooked. I was so sad 1 lb was only 9 pieces. Next time, I need to buy a minimum of 2 pounds because it's amazing.
Ribeye steak - This was amazing, I had the option of getting it seasoned or plain. Denise even asked me how thick I wanted it. I got it seasoned. The steak was so juicy and tender.
I highly recommend this place and can't wait to...
Read moreI heard good things about Kinder’s so I said sure when my brother suggested it for lunch today. First impression is that the space is clean and comfortable with the appealing aroma of wood smoke. There was a line to order but it moved quickly as multiple staffers took orders. The crew was prompt, professional and friendly. My overstuffed baked potato was huge, delicious (pulled pork, melted cheddar with bbq sauce) and looked great. The server confided that she got hungry making it. Strategically placed tvs kept us updated on the Texans versus K.C. The restaurant was nearly full even though it was just past 2 p.m. despite the crowd the place was curiously quiet. Mom’s Cali bowl was fresh and good, but the serving bowl looked small to me unlike my overstuffed potato. Cal had the double cheeseburger which came with tomato, lettuce, mayo and bbq sauce. The burger looked fit for a king and Cal wolfed it down hungrily declaring it was great. Monte had the New England style clam chowder which looked good and he ate it first before tackling his pulled pork sandwich which was served on a sourdough roll and took two hands to eat. Pedro had the combo bbq beef and chicken quarter with beans and potato salad. Pedro’s combo presentation was very impressive and he declared that it was excellent. When you go, order at the counter and give them your name. They’ll call you back to the counter when they have you meal ready and then you pay. We bussed our table ourselves. All the good stuff that I heard about Kinder’s was true. You should go too. ...

If I could give 0 stars I would!
Today went in and there was a white guy being assisted and two black girls ahead of us (Arabs) were in line for a bit. Don’t know exactly how long these girls were in line for. Anyway, they ended up leaving. A few minutes later, the white guy was done. We were next. The worker that was helping him did not say a word to us. He just turned around. That’s it! There were MORE THAN 6 WORKERS in there FILLING UP ORDERS. For who? I don’t know. Could be online or phone orders because the people in there dining in had their food already.
Minutes have passed and we are just standing there waiting to be helped, mind you we were not acknowledged by any of those workers. The phone rang and one of the girls dropped everything in her hands and answered the phone. We waited, waited, waited, nope no one is acknowledging us. WHY? I don’t know? Could it be them being racist? PROBABLY. Why wouldn’t anyone in there acknowledge us…. At the end we left. Will never return to this deli. I’ll go spend my money and time somewhere else that’s gonna acknowledge me standing in front of them.
