Stopped by today with my son who is a very picky eater but does love chicken and I was blown away by everything we ordered. I got the Cajun love sandwich, it was the best thing I have eaten in a really long time! My son had the tenders and he loved them, personally I didn’t like so much batter but I took some of it off and the chicken itself tasted great. The staff was very friends and eager to help. The environment was cute with local art up, it was loud enough in there I could let my son watch a show on my phone and it not bother anyone but also not so aloud I couldn’t have a conversation with my friend. Will definitely come back! One more note- the sauces are wonderful but don’t expect them to taste like the regular ones you buy at the store. The ranch has a very different flavor but I loved it.

Delicious chicken strips! Crispy, flaky batter, well salted and the chicken has a nice texture. No bitter oil in their fryer. A bit pricey for what you get though. 3 strips was $9, they gave me 4 but it still wasn't very filling. The sauces were also spectacular, esp the ranch and Bleu cheese. The ranch was a little chunky with pickles so it had a nice texture, and the Bleu wasn't too strong. Fries were amazing, very well fried, crisp, and had a unique seasoning as well.

We were in Nashville for a weekend event and decided to stop by Costco before going home. After a quick Google search for restaurants nearby, we decided to give this place a try. And are glad we did. The breading wasn't anything like what I expected - think tempura. It was light but really juicy and packed a ton of flavor. The fries were really good too. I thought the portions were very generous for the price and would definitely come back if in the area.

Rude, horrible customer service

Today I was eating at Maniacs and an employee accidentally spilled several plates of food on me. I was covered in hot sauce and french fries. The employee quickly apologized acknowledged that I was covered in sauce. A nearby male employee saw the entire incident and quickly ran to get some napkins to clean up the floor, but didn’t offer me a napkin to clean myself. No one went to get a manager to explain what happened or offer me any sort of compensation. No one came to check on me or help me get cleaned up, and the female who spilled everything on me just disappeared.

On my way to get new clothing, I called the restaurant to speak to the manager/owner Myron Phillips. I told him I was going to be buying a new T-shirt and pair of shorts and I would bring them the bill. Myron quickly and emphatically told me that he would not be replacing my clothing, and that I was being unreasonable. He then proceeded many times to ask me what even happened, and as I tried to explain the story to him, he continually interrupted me to say that I was being extreme and unreasonable, and that I wouldn’t be happy until I received my pound of flesh. He tried to downplay the situation by saying that the female employee “drizzled a little bit of sauce on me.” He did briefly offer to have my clothing dry cleaned, but since Myron continued to yell and talk over me, I couldn’t tell him that I had a meeting that afternoon and didn’t have time to take my clothing to the dry cleaners. He made excuses for his employees, saying that one was only 15 and one had been with him for 10 years. As he continued to raise his voice to me, he claimed that his sauce would never stain clothing, aggressively told me he would not be accommodating my request and that I should just go blast him on social media. When I finally was able to speak, I decided that I’d had enough and told him “Myron, thank you for your time. You have a good day“

I’m not normally a person who complains on social media. I try to work out my problems with other people like an adult. Since Myron asked that I “ blast him on social media,” I guess that’s what I’m doing. I’m not even that upset that a bunch of hot sauce and french fries were spilled all over my clothing. However, I am VERY upset at the lack of response to correct the situation and the complete rudeness and disrespect that I was shown today. I had to cancel my appointment this afternoon and get some new clothing on my dime, but most importantly I’ve wasted my time trying to deal with this situation and writing this ridiculous review.

I’ve been eating at Maniacs since they opened more than 15 years ago, but I am absolutely done eating here now, and I encourage everyone reading this to choose another...

I heard about this place only a few months ago and was surprised to learn it's been in the area for 12 years! I personally am not a huge fan of chicken, I really have to crave it to enjoy it in any form which is one reason I have not hurried to make my way here. Also, it's in an odd location that I never really go through and when I do pass I'm never looking to eat because I would have never thought there was such a great option here.

The place is very simple in decor but looks very clean. The cashier was great to guide me through their menu and made good recommendations. I had heard they have great fried tenders but, I was not in a mood for that so I went for the grilled Cajun chicken sandwich instead. It was great! I am not a fan of grilled chicken sandwiches usually but this one was so juicy. I would say the best one I've tasted. The fries are seasoned very well and I didn't want to alter their flavor so I had them without ketchup.

Overall I had a great first experience and will definitely bring my wife so she...

First time at maniacs.

Best chicken tender ive ever had. And thats about all I order when I go out. Batter was perfect on fried tenders. Crispy light. Not too oily. Chicken fell apart in mouth and it was super moist. Perfect temp on food.

Sauces: i ordered honey mustard and ranch being a spice pansy. Just worked my way up to medium salsa kinda pansy.

Honey mustard was a good a notch above the rest.

Ranch was FANTASTIC. It was really light and fresh tasting. Reminded me of a cucumber sauce from a gyro shop.

Then she brought out the H2 sauce. Honey mustard mixed with habanero. AMAZING. NOT SPICY. Just adds a rich flavor to the honey mustard. MUST TRY.

Wife had the salad. Great portion size. Little large for a gal on a diet but that meant i could get a few bites in.

FRIES: drenched in salt and pepper. So tasty.

Carmin and faith took great care of us. Walked us through the menu and...
