Sunday, 3/30/25, around 4pm, I ordered the new "Shrimp and Grits Skillet,'' based on the photo in the menu. This dish includes shrimp, andouille sausage and a Creole red sauce poured over the dish and the grits. When it arrive, there was one small piece of andouilee sausage (size of a nickel), no red sauce and the grits were very watery. I told the server, and she said "I don't know..." and went and supposedly told the manager. I held that on epiece of sausage out so the manager could see what I was referring to. The server came back and told me that this dish was "prepackaged, so that is just how it is. I don't know..." There seemed to be no interest, whatsoever, from management. As you can see from the photos, the menu photo looks great. In my meal, you can see that there is no red sauce--and, take a look at that andouille sausage piece on the left side of the plate. If what they told me was true, that it is "prepackaged," then prepare to be disappointed when you order this menu item. No sausage and no red sauce. There was no flavor, either--perhaps due to the lack of red sauce. I visit this store very often, but not anymore. The thing is--if a manager would care enough just to acknowledge what happened, it would be so much more effective, and I would appreciate that. But, I paid $17 for about 6 shrimp, no flavor, no sausage, no red sauce and water sitting in my grits. So, CB sold me this mess, and they don't care. When you see the menu photo, there is quite a contrast.

Unfortunately this review isn’t a good one. Stopped by on My lunch break at the Brentwood location to pick up dinner only to literally have My money & break wasted. I ordered the grilled tender meal with 3 sides loaded mashed potatoes they were 3/10 pinto beans 4/10 macaroni 5/10 with a extra side of chicken and dumplings 0/10 I also ordered a peach cobbler and was just giving a bowl of peaches smh. Everything was old and cold not to mention the tenders were burnt and tiny. I work 2 jobs 16 hours total a day so for this to be provided to Me for dinner was absolutely terrible and pathetic. Oh and biscuit 2/10 hard as a rock! Only thing I ate was some of the macaroni and pinto beans just to not have wasted My money EVERYTHING WAS TRASH!!!!so disappointed!

Food wasn't done, my daughter and I both got the same meal with biscuits and gravy and we only got 1 of them. Eggs way undercooked, pink sausage, doughy biscuit and no one checked on us just brought our food and our check (which wasn't really a big deal) but I guess other guests weren't happy with the service because as I was coming in we overheard a server say that a man wanted to talk to the manager because he was never attended to and only got 2 cup of coffee and they never came back to get him more or get a food order. They didn't seem understaffed, there were almost as many workers as patrons so I'm not sure what the issue was that morning.

If I could give this location a zero I would. We ordered a to-go Easter dinner back on April the 4th. We actually spoke to an employee to place the order to make sure it was correct. Fast forward to Easter Sunday- we arrive to pick up the dinner and are told it is not ready. We waited, waited, waited, and waited some more. The manager kept telling us it will be right out. They could never give an update on the order other than that. When all was said and done we waited over an hour and a half to pick up an order they had ample notice (over a week) to prepare. The Cracker Barrel employee I spoke with to place the order said we were the second people to place an order for Easter Sunday so where was the disconnect? They told us they had an influx of orders overnight. Did they not have an order cutoff time? Did they not prioritize those who ordered in advance? There were several other people there experiencing this same frustration. People were waiting in cars and in the lobby (at a time when we are all trying to be vigilant about social distancing) because they were afraid if they went to their car they wouldn’t receive their order. It was very disorganized and was handled very poorly. Easter is always a busy time and we wasted an hour and a half of ours waiting in the car for food we NEVER received. Eventually we had to cancel. We called Granite City Brewery and they had our order ready in 20 minutes and that was with ZERO notice. This needs to be addressed so it never happens again. My husband and I are very...
