I have been to this location many times from early morning to early evening. This location is severely understaffed and mismanaged. They are only open from 6:00am-6:00pm, which has never been the KK standard, and be advised, they stop taking orders around 5:45-5:50. The inside has been closed FOREVER, so all customers are forced into the single-serving drive thru, which has to be the slowest drive thru in TN. This is remarkable because there are at least 3 employees working FOH and can be seen milling around through the payment/ pick up window. They always seem to be "out" of at least 60% of their inventory displayed on the menu board. If they are out of something or simply not making the flavor, they should cover those options on the board, but they don't so you're forced to ask and be told "No" over and over. They also do not label "weekend only" options accordingly, so again, more disappointment. As an experiment, I've attempted to order almost everything on the menu and have affirmed the previous statistic; it's infuriating. The staff has not been courteous on most visits. If you are the 4th car in line or beyond, you can be assured a minimum of 15 minute wait time just to have your presence at the order box acknowledged. Again, this is remarkable considering the number of employees they have working. To boot, the "Hot Fresh Now" sign is never on, which is not the KK standard. If I owned this location, I would be making significant changes to restore the...
Read moreThis is not the best KK location, by far. I’ve purchased from various locations over the decades, and I’ve noticed this location struggles more with staffing than others. Employees are sometimes quite nice, other times very curt.
When I’m buying a doughnut, I’m a happy camper, which means I’m extra polite and chipper and friendly and smiling and filled with joy, even before I get my little raspberry-filled doughball of delight. So, I know it’s not me.
Doughnut quality is always great—the chef seem to know what they’re doing and there’s never been an issue with that.
Supply is interesting. I get that flavors run out but KK really needs to upgrade their menu display to show which flavors are in or out of stock. Because, every single time…”I’ll have six raspberry-filled dough—oh, you’re out of those? Ok…uhhhhhhh…I’ll have six lemon filled dou—oh, out of those, too?? Can you use tell me which doughnuts you have, then??” Ugh. The joy seeps out a little at that point. Just put up a digital menu so I don’t have to converse so much with your crankier employees, please. :)))
I ordered coffee once and that was kind of complicated. Eventually we got it sorted.
By far my favorite doughnuts around, other than Five Daughters. Dunkin is simply not...
Read moreThis Krispy Kreme is the worst one I have ever been to in my life. And it’s not even close. There is absolutely zero chance that the donuts were made in the last 12 hours, let alone today. I’ve eaten day old, heck even two day old KK donuts and these weren’t even as good as those. The glaze had all soaked into the donut and had no more substance to it. They were COLD. I asked the girl if they had any fresh donuts and she replied “not at the moment, no”. She was nice.. but still! What?! How can you operate a Krispy Kreme in Cool Springs and not have any FRESH DONUTS 4 hours before you close??? They weren’t making any donuts!!! That, and I got “hot chocolates” for my family and they were made with water, not milk, and the chocolate wasn’t even all the way stirred! I poured mine and my sons out out and saw all of the chocolate at the bottom. My 4 year old son didn’t want his hot chocolate, and he’s never turned a sweet thing down in his life.
Disgraceful. So focused on “bottom line” that all quality is completely disregarded. Unbelievable and inexcusable to sell this garbage to the public for $22 for a half dozen and 3 hot cocos. Highway...
