Twin Peaks: A Hot Spot without the Cool Factor
During a recent visit to Twin Peaks, a popular restaurant and sports bar in town, I was left disappointed by the complete lack of proper air conditioning. With the scorching heat outside, it quickly became evident that this establishment was ill-prepared to provide a comfortable environment for its patrons.
Upon entering Twin Peaks, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. The place exuded a lively energy, suitable for watching sports or enjoying a casual night out. Unfortunately, the overpowering heat immediately became the focal point of my visit.
The lack of cooling arrangements was hard to ignore as sweat started forming within minutes of entering. The room felt stuffy, and even the ceiling fans scattered around seemed to push around hot air instead of providing any relief. The absence of a well-functioning air conditioning system was a major letdown, particularly considering the arrival of the summer season.
As the evening progressed, it became increasingly uncomfortable to dine and socialize, reflecting poorly on the overall experience. The excessive heat made it challenging to truly enjoy the food and beverages offered. It's difficult to savor a delicious meal or sip on a refreshing drink when beads of sweat are constantly forming on your forehead.
While the staff did their best to attend to customers promptly and with a smile, the heat became a distracting factor throughout the evening. Conversations were overshadowed by complaints about the sweltering conditions, which impacted the overall mood in the establishment.
In conclusion, despite Twin Peaks' lively atmosphere and friendly staff, the lack of proper air conditioning takes away from what could have been an enjoyable experience. When dining out or attending a sports bar, comfort should be a priority for any establishment worth its salt, and Twin Peaks fell short in this regard. Until they address their air conditioning issue, I would recommend seeking a cooler alternative for those seeking respite...
Read moreBeen here several times over the past weeks usually service is great but until today I have always sat at a table but sat at bar today and regretted it. Wife got sweet tea with lemon when the order I ordered for her was unsweet tea and then after a few minutes the bartender (shorter) asked my wife that was at the bar by then lemon or sweetener? No lemon no. Sweetener guess what she got after 5 min. Sweet tea with lemon. Then it took 10 minutes to get the bartender's attention to correct and her answer was I didn't make it. It took about 15 minutes for bartender to come back and see if we needed anything by this time I usually drink two to three beers but I had my one that I got 10 minutes after ordering. Luckily a toddler bartender came on shift and she started helping out after we'd been there for 30 minutes with little to no service. She the taller one was great and knew how to tend bar. I was out of drink by Midway through Mill I finished my meal and finally the better bartender asked if I could use another beer after the shorter bartender was literally 10 ft away talking to a customer that had ordered a water and a beer in the 45 minutes we were there. My apologies for not keeping up with the shorter taller just know the shorter bartender was worthless as a service employee and the taller one is worth more than she is making and understands the service business. I did not catch their names as I travel for work and do not generally memorize my server's name unless they really stand out. The above was addressed with manager as we left. With that said the last two times we'd been to this location we had a great server she was not there tonight and that's why we said at the bar that server's name is Megan and I do remember cuz she made a great impression we had great service both times. Has a review shows the food is good and atmosphere is good. I would recommend table service over the bar. As it seems unless you're a jerk off you probably will not get...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of your establishment for many years and have always enjoyed the excellent service provided by your staff. I'm on a first name basis with 85% of staff here. However, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of one of your managers.
On [10/22/2024], I visited your establishment and attempted to order an alcoholic beverage. I presented my valid driver's license, which clearly indicated that I am of legal age to consume alcohol. However, the manager on duty, [Patrick], refused to serve me, claiming that it was illegal to order an alcoholic beverage with my DMV Online confirmation in the state of Tennessee.
I explained to the manager that I had renewed my license online, which is a legal way to order it in Tennessee. I even provided him with proof of my legal right to order a beverage. However, he continued to argue with me, insisting that I was wrong.
I am deeply disappointed by the manager's behavior. He not only refused to serve me a legal beverage, but he also argued with me and refused to acknowledge his mistake infront of my buisness partners. This is not the level of service that I expect from your establishment.
I am a professional who frequently holds conferences and meetings at your establishment. I am also a loyal customer who has spent a significant amount of money at your establishment over the years. I am deeply disappointed that I have been treated so poorly by one of your managers.
I am requesting that you take action to address this situation and ensure that this type of behavior does not occur again. And that your managers have training on whats legal I would also like to request an apology from the manager in question.
I value our business relationship and hope that we can resolve this matter amicably. I look forward to hearing...
