David was our Sales Rep, he Introduced himself Quickly, pointed us in the direction of what we were looking for and Gave us SPACE to look, I love that he didn’t Hover while also making sure we knew he was there to answer any questions. He made the process very smooth. We love our purchase, and definitely plan on doing business with Rooms to Go again!
Edit, it’s been less than two years, we purchased an additional insurance through Guardian, we were told covered everything and if they could not fix it that it would be replaced for face value. We purchased a Cindy Crawford (Aspen?) The seam on one arm of our sofa is coming apart so we filed a claim to try and have it fixed. The Insurance company has notified use that seams are not covered…….However David told us upon purchase EVERYTHING was covered, matter of fact he told us that we could cut the couch ourselves and it would be covered and now we are being told that a seam that is no fault of our own is not covered we paid a lot of extra money for the insurance and for what exactly ?! Save your time and money go somewhere else and don’t purchase useless insurance. We will also be filing this with the BBB!
It won’t let me respond to the companies request, I am sending them a follow up email and will update as a resolution is attempted to be found.
Final follow up after responding to the email as requested and sending in the requested documents, all they said was that they are a separate entity than Guardian and can confirm that Seams are not covered and again offered no other way of correcting the issue, so as it stands my review I will stay, I would move with caution if you decide to go with this company as they don’t warranty the Quality of there own product as there sales guys will claim. 10/10 won’t use them nor recommend them to anyone.
Edit 1/3/25 Had an appointment scheduled for today to have my furniture cleaned after previous mentioned review update. Our apt time was today 1/3/25 with a time frame of 8-12 an hour last 12 I called because I’ve yet to have anyone show. The employee I spoke to said the Technician only has two stops today and mine should have been the first one on the schedule, he said he sent an email to see what is going on but at the very least I should have received a call stating the technician was running late or needed to reschedule. I get things happen. However punctuality goes a long way. I’m starting to think it’s safe to say they are not worth doing business with on any level. I Will update as I get information or services. So far 10/10 still wouldn’t recommend even for something as Simple as cleaning the furniture.
Update 1/20/25 A rooms to go service Tech came out to clean our sofa and loveseat since that’s the only thing the guardian insurance apparently was good for. The Technician however didn’t even attempt to clean it just said he would say he tried and request new cushions but he could only put in for the specific two apparently for him to even clean the couch more than just the two spots we would have to make a claim for each literal individual spot on it through guardian which is what the technician recommended he said that if approved at least it would give us a chance on having both our couch and loveseat replaced entirely since replacing the needed cushions would require more work and effort than replacing the whole piece. At least someone within the company didn’t attempt to bullshit me which I can respect, honestly the most upfront and helpful person as of yet. I included a photo of said stain for a reference to what we were attempting to have fixed.
2/12/25 I did what the rooms to go technician recommended and once again there word is complete trash just like there products. Guardian is denying any and all request to cover the product and Rooms to go says that it’s all on Guardian to do the things they (Rooms to Go) states that Guardian will do. Read moreThis was my first time shopping at Rooms To Go and I can say it more than pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a modular sectional couch with media consoles for our bonus room. After looking online for what seem like forever, I finally just went into the store. The staff was friendly and helpful. Larry was the sales person who initially approached me. I immediately felt welcome and knew this gentleman was going to help me make this happen! Larry went above and beyond to make sure I was happy thru the entire process. He thoroughly described all the details to ensure that I was comfortable with my decision & purchase, and that what I was choosing would adequately fit the space I had to work with. Being in the store gives you real feel for the furniture. It's easy to see a picture and say “I like how that looks”. It's another thing to actually sit on it and imagine it in your home. Larry gave me as much information as he could, and then encouraged me to do just that-which was sit on the couch(es), compare it to others and think of all the possibilities that would come with having this particular sectional. (I should also mention the couch I purchased was just released and wasn’t even on the website yet - so it paid off just by stepping foot in the store and Larry introducing me to it…and it was THE ONE. I thought I had found “the one” thru my online searches, but there was a much better option and Larry knew it - and he was right!) Larry is an amazing man with an obvious desire to exceed expectations. He's so delightful and friendly. As I said, he made me feel welcome. His smile and personality are so warm and engaging that it’s impossible not to smile right back at him. He made me feel at home and, I felt at ease with him. He wasn't pushy like some sales people tend to be. He gave me the space to really explore what I wanted. I could tell he was listening to me & not just assuming what I wanted. I tend to be over the top about details, and I sensed he could tell that almost immediately. And he provided me with all the details. Larry even went through, which I was unaware was available, the extended warranty. I have two teenage sons, and after hearing everything it would cover, it was a no-brainer. I went to the store, maybe 2 or 3 times before finally making my purchase-Larry has the patience of a Saint! And every single time I left the store, I left with a smile on my face in an uplifted attitude, because his joy and genuinely pleasant personality is contagious. He also told me delivery would be easy…it certainly was! They arrived within the delivery window and all I did was direct the delivery guys to the room. They put it all together and within 10 minutes, we were in business! The quality, color & size are perfection. Despite my initial hesitation, and after going into the store & my wonderful experience working with Larry, I would 100% recommend Larry @ Rooms To Go (Moores Lane location)! I will definitely be going back to explore other items for our new home. You can buy a sectional couch almost anywhere…but you won’t get service like Larry’s anywhere but here. THANK YOU LARRY!
