Firstly, our server did wonderful considering the situation. Our food was plated wrong and delivered wrong. We waited almost half an hour for our food and an additional 10 minutes for our last dish( which still came out wrong). Most of our items were lukewarm, overcooked or inedible. Pasta dishes were overcooked with broken oily sauce. Seafood dishes were all overcooked and cold. For there only being three tables, with open menus in the dining room, the quality of Our experience was unacceptable and quite an embarrassment for the restaurant. Our server had zero help from management or team me ever throughout our all this. Delivered our food by herself( we had a party of 6) and even acknowledged the she knows that it was plated wrong or switched up. She did her best to correct our meals running back and forth from the kitchen; all while keeping our drinks and biscuits filled. She apologized countless times while trying to correct our meals and doing all she could to get our last dish so we could eat our meal as a family. After ten minutes we all decided to start eating as our food was now cold. At no point was a table touch made by a floor manager or a kitchen manager. Eventually the manager delivered the food after we were all through eating and just said “here ya go hope, everything taste good.” Did not stay long enough for us to say that the dish was wrong. Our server apologized for the horrible experience and said that the last meal would be taken care of as well as a complimentary dessert. Didn’t really change the experience, but we accepted and thanked her for trying her best. We also were celebrating a birthday and was offered another dessert for the end of meal. She came back soon after saying management said “ no” to the birthday dessert chosen, because of the complimentary dessert given to us for the bad experience. By then we were over it and just wanted to leave. Received our bill and was told that the floor manager changed her mind about taking off the meal and that the dessert was fine. We asked that the Manager give that explanation herself at this point. As I was walking to the washroom I walked into the conversation between manager and server saying” I am not going to your table, they are not worth Me going over there, give them what they want and get them out of here.” We were not a rude or demanding table at any point through this awful experience. We did not deserve These inappropriate comments or to be treated in such a way. Embarrassing to watch your managers and so called “leaders” act in...
Read moreWe enjoyed our visit, and started with some of the lovely shrimp appetizers. My husband had the crunchy Dragon shrimp appetizer (he liked it quite a bit - I tasted one and it was great!) and I had the Coconut shrimp with Pina colada sauce... Highly recommended by Jeremy, our server, and he was so right. They were scrumptious.
Our main meal was, of course, from the Lobsterfest menu. What we had come for.
The steaks were very nice - cooked exactly to order, nice and juicy. The flavor was quite nice. The lobsters were a lot smaller than I remember from years ago, but they were tasty, although cooked slightly too long, which is easy to do with smaller lobsters. Not a huge deal. Still good and the flavor was quite nice. The vegetables were delicious, especially the asparagus which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Bacon Mac and Cheese tasted like they put a lot of love in it. I appreciate that they didn't just settle for elbow macaroni but they went all out and used a more appealing pasta and real, creamy cheese base with some stretch to it. The bacon was perfect - not too much, done to just the right crispness.
Jeremy was a very good server, attentive but not hovering. Very friendly but not too chatty. Good sense of humor. I would sit in his section again.
I definitely appreciated that the music where we were sitting was audible but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk across the table. My husband and I will definitely be back to eat there...
Read moreThe worst absolute worst Red Lobster I have ever been to In My Life. Terrible service horrible food. Scallions look like cut up rat tails. Clam strips look like burnt baby mice tails. The mashed potatoes had evidently set on the plate under the heat lamp until it had tried to form back into a baked potato you could not cut it with a fork it was like rubber. The fish was so overcooked and something in it was simply a crust. The only thing edible were the tiny stuffed mushrooms and the biscuits. The shrimp where a nice size and have they been completely cooked would have been a nice thing to eat. The manager walked around with a half tuck shirt in his pants that were evidently too small halfway down his butt. The waitress did not realize that we needed Forks to eat with and could not remember that we needed napkins also even after she was asked twice do not go to this place is not worth your time or money. I would greatly rather have my $129 back. Also our mixed drinks had no liquor in it even after we gave them a second chance and ask them to actually put some in it. But they were fruit smoothies and nice and refreshing for $10 a pop. If I could give him a negative 5 stars and leave them in the...
