Mountain Bird Chicken — Restaurant in Brevard

We tried out the new fried chicken spot in town and it did not disappoint! We had the chicken tenders, coleslaw, and the buffalo chicken sandwich with ranch coleslaw and fries, everything was absolutely delicious. Just a heads-up, the buffalo chicken sandwich packs some heat (spicy, spicy!) but in the best way.

Since they’re brand new, there was a tiny bit of a wait, but the staff was so apologetic and kind that it didn’t bother us at all and honestly, the food was well worth it. The service was wonderful, and they bring the food right out to your table, which is such a nice touch.

I also really appreciate that they have indoor seating, it makes the whole experience even better. Getting in and out of the restaurant was surprisingly easy too, which is a big plus.

I cannot say enough how much I love Mountain Bird! This quick serve restaurant just opened up and I can already tell this is going to be a staple spot in my food rotation! The staff is so friendly, the location is so clean and has such a great atmosphere, and the food is out of this world. We got the Full Stack, Fire Bird, Biscuit, Tenders, Crinkle Fries, and Coleslaw (basically one of everything lol) and everything was so tasty. The chicken was crispy and tender and all of the sides were cooked to perfection. But then the sauces they offered just took the whole experience to the next level! I love fried chicken, and let me tell you I don't know if I've ever been to a restaurant with sauces this good. Such a great experience! This was our 2nd trip. First trip we did take out & it was phenomenal! Today we ate here & sat down. Such a great use of an old building. They added some small town charm for sure! Now for the food: holy crap it’s so good! We drive exactly 1 hour & 15 minutes for this & never been disappointed. Meanwhile, near us they continue to add new chains but nothing compares to mountain chicken.
