Jimmie's Ice Cream & Grill — Restaurant in Brewer

First time here in over 30 yrs, ( my favorite place growing up ) so disappointed. Went with family ordered scallop baskets and haddock basket, asked if it was real haddock and scallops and was assured they were the REAL thing . NOPE not at all it’s immitation frozen something so was lied to and don’t know what it was. Most of said scallops ( size of marbles ) had NONE in the breading . WHAT ?? How does that happen ? Figured we would try eat some anyway, Bad idea a few bites and instantly sick to our stomachs. People please beware when you go here this is NOT real nor fresh seafood. Shame on Jimmies for being deceitful. Will never go back. Then saw of the folks working in there drop a hamburger bun on the floor then pick it up and use it on someone’s burger. Seriousl ?? Awful. I have been going to Jimmies for at least 15 years. Loyal. Mind you I do.nkt.make much money... I work very hard for a living so when I do go out to eat it is a rare but deserving experience. I could always count on Jimmies for value meal at a fair price. But.. this time I was shocked by the careless unappreciated cheap way I was treated. It took me 30 minutes to get food. I paid FIFTY DOLLARS FOR TWO LOBSTER ROLLS AND THEY WERE THEY ABSOLUTE SKIMPIEST RIP OFF SANDWICHES IVE EVER HAD!!!!. IT MIGHT NOT MEAN MUCH TO YOU BUT YOU HAV LOST A LIFE LONG CUSTOMER AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD TO NOT GET RIPPED OFF. AMERICANS WORK HARD FOR THERE MONEY AND WE ARE SICK OF BEING SCAMMED! P O S. I do not know when Jimmie's first actually opened but I was born in 1985 and can remember going to Jimmie's from a very young age. I am 33 and I still look forward to taking a trip to North Main St in Brewer to get a delicious dessert. Not in the mood for dessert? That's okay because they have food too! I personally love their friend clams!!! For my family, Jimmie's is a tradition that we enjoy sharing together. Forget about places like Dairy Queen! Don't waste your time getting a 'sundae' from McDonalds. Jimmie's serves quality products and the prices are fair. I would recommend Jimmie's over any other business of it's kind in this area and I hope there are many more families out there that also share this...
