Arrowhead Inn — Restaurant in Brick Township

My favorite band, the Humpback Trio, was playing when I visited.. I've heard that this is the best and most authentic dive bar on the Jersey shore, and from what I've seen I concur!

A little more detail... So we stopped into the Arrowhead Inn not really expecting much—figured it’d be your standard bar fare, maybe a couple decent beers on tap, call it a night. But I’ve got to say, the food was better than expected. We had the wings, a burger, some fries, and a few other things off the menu. Nothing over-the-top, just solid, well-made food that actually hit the spot.

Now let’s talk about drinks, because that’s where these places usually fall off a cliff. Not here. Whoever’s behind the bar knows what they’re doing. Solid pours, not stingy. The cocktail list wasn’t long, but what they had was clean and balanced—no syrupy garbage masking cheap liquor. Even the beer selection had some thought behind it: local options, a couple of standouts you don’t always see on tap. I didn’t feel like I was settling, which says a lot.

They’ve got live music on the weekends, and on the night we were there, Humpback Trio happened to be playing—a local band I’ve always liked. They sounded great and fit the space perfectly, keeping the energy up without drowning the room. You could feel the crowd leaning in, not tuning out. Arrowhead’s one of those spots that doesn’t try too hard but still gets it right—good food, solid drinks, and a band that makes you want to stick around and... 🎵🎶🎸Play.... Just little bit...

Wasn't very welcoming. Smelled like mold and musty. Everyone stared at you when you walk in. Ceiling tiles nasty from water leaks. Ordered a Malibu and diet and bartender told me that she didn't recommend drinking the diet. Friend ordered Jack and diet and was told the same thing but bartender recommended going to convenience store next door to get diet so she brought bottles back and was still charged for the soda she bought herself. Was only there to see a friend play in band. We only stayed an hour because we were bored. Crowd is an all older crowd. Surprised this place passed health inspection. Definitely...

Bartender took mine and my son’s drink and told us we “know better” cuz they were sitting on some game table nobody was at but us and then proceeded to stare me down. I gave the look back cuz she took my half drank drink that I paid for so she waived for me to leave. I HAPPILY LEFT CUZ SHE LOST HER DAMN MIND! Who does that?!! Ive NEVER been so disrespected! Music was nice but because of her I will NEVER go back nor recommend. Sorry you are not...
