The wife and I ordered a few items through GrubHub to try a variety and see what was good here. Unfortunately, every single bite we took immediately brought us right back to the Great Depression. I would reference the "White People Taco Night" meme, but that would be giving Mexico Lindo far too much credit.
The steak tostada, while looking quite good after unboxing it, was somehow absolutely flavorless despite its numerous ingredients. Even the two tiddlywinks of green salsa that they included did nothing to enhance the flavor as it was almost flavorless.
The beef empanadas were even sadder, consisting of 100% unseasoned ground beef housed in a shell that one would compare to a dessicated Totono pizza rolls if they were being generous.
The chicken fajitas were the most impressive, purely because I never knew that chicken could be this dry. Mexico Lindo somehow managed to cook out all of the moisture from the chicken while also cooking all of the flavor out of the peppers and onions. Three tortillas accompanied the dish, almost as sad and abandoned as the empanada dough While the rice was once again old and dry, the beans had a surprisingly deep flavor...a welcome reprieve from the rest of the "food" here
I would like to believe this was an "off night" for the cooks, but we'll never be back to find out. With fantastic options out there like Tacos Los Campos, I truly can't imagine a reason to ever eat this slop again. Mexico Lindo is a discredit to the Brick food scene and should be ashamed...
Read moreI usually do not like to leave any bad feedback but this time I feel the need to, I am a regular customer always placing orders for pick up. I placed an order tonight for a milanesa de res torta (breaded steak sandwich) the lady who picked up the phone (which seems to be the owner) told me that they did have it, when I came home I noticed they instead gave me a steak torta I was ok with it but when I gave the first bite the steak was extremely salty and the meat tasted horrible when I called them to complain they made it sound like they were going to make things right by exchanging it (I even brought the sandwich back). I told the lady that it was super salty and she gave me a horrible expression, she proceeded to charge me instead and I left. I came home and threw the whole sandwich in the garbage. Again it’s not about the money it’s about the horrible customer service they offered.
Update (since I’m not being able to reply): I did complain about the meat being extremely salty. The other 2 tortas were good, no complains on them but your customer service is...
Read moreBeing from the West Coast, I’ve been looking for authentic Mexican food. Read great reviews about this place so we gave it a go. They have an adorable outdoor seating area in back which is where we ate. I ordered the Carne Asada and my husband had the combo Fajitas. I asked for a side of grilled jalapeños because I am crazy and I love my food extra hot. They made me some kind of onion jalapeño mix which was hot as hell and so delicious!! My Carne Asada was served on a sizzling plate like fajitas and my steak was sooo tender not to mention a very generous portion. My husband throughly enjoyed his fajitas. Our waiter Andrew was very friendly and very attentive. I believe Aldo is a manager or maybe owner was very sweet and kept checking on us. He found out we got married the day before and surprised us with Sopapillas!! Excellent food and service!! We will definitely be back when we’re...
