Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Brick Township

My son loves Rita's. I enjoy taking him here for a quick treat. Usually fast. Pricing is normal. I got 3 items the last time; 2 drinks and the sampler that consists of 4 different choice flavors of Italian ice. You can add a bit of custard to the center of the tray, however when I was asked if I wanted lids for everything I said yes. I wasn't thinking that there is no spot for the custard to go so they put the custard in between in the middle of the 4 flavors in the tray so I got my 2 custard drinks covered and the sampler platter so the custard was smothered down flat LOL. Probably should have double checked since we got that...

I've been coming to this Rita's for years now, and they never disappoint. Nothing beats their cold italian ice on a hot summer's day. After all, what would summer be without Rita's? Their blue raspberry ice is a favorite of mine. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, just mouthwatering. I highly recommend trying their custard as well. I think it gets overshadowed by the italian ice, but it's always super creamy, rich and delicious. Very convenient location as well. Overall, a great business worth supporting with plenty of options...

Was just there and there was a glitch with the mac card and we were 4 bucks off not that we were looking for a freebie but rather then eat the four buck they through out the ice instead makes perfect sense to me waste the ice any way and lose the money any way . Instead of saying take the ice and pay us back later or tonight but instead they were cold as I now I know me and several others won't ever go there...
