We have returned to Yianni's on 10/6/25 and had another amazing meal. In fact it was even better than before. We met Angelo, the owner and had Michael as our waiter. Both took exceptional care of us and interest in making sure our dining experience was top notch. We enjoyed multiple appetizers and loved the Pikilia combo. There is a meat platter combo as a shared dinner that is a must have! We can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
Original review: My wife and I shared an incredible meal with our aunt and uncle at Yianni's. Maurico took great care of us. The food and service was outstanding. The grape leaves, fresh beets, fried eggplant, fried zucchini , Hummus, and tzatziki sauce were all the best we have ever had. We shared the meat sampler meal and our family shared a seafood combo. My uncle raved about the octopus and calamari. The best he ever had! The only negative is the hvac system was not working so it was hot in there. Even with the weather being 76 degrees out, it was hot in the fining area. If the hvac isn't working when you are there you may want to get the food to go, but then you will miss out on the great service. Next time we are in town we will be back. If you like Greek food, you will really enjoy...
Read moreYianni's is a place you simply have to experience. The decor reminds you of Santorini with the blue and white all around you. Michael was our server. He was attentive and had a wealth of information to impart. He described the dishes from a culinary standpoint. We enjoyed the Butcher's Plate. Every meat was a standout, from the chicken skewers to the lamb skewers and the pork, to the bifteki, the lamb chops, the lemon kissed oven roasted potatoes and frites with a sprinkling of delicious feta, to the salad drizzled with a smooth balsamic dressing, this platter for two transports you. I can't leave out the warm, pillowy pita and the perfect tzatziki! My husband and I couldn't finish it and will enjoy it again tomorrow for lunch. We had to leave room for dessert! I enjoyed an espresso and we shared an Ekmek Kantaifi. It was a perfect end to a delightful dining experience. Sweet, but not too sweet - a symphony of flavors based on a delicious custard. There is a small Greek market behind the counter with many imported goods. We're fortunate to have had no trouble with parking in the office season. Michael explained that during the summer you needed a reservation. We will certainly be back and we highly recommend Yianni's...
Read moreWe were going to another Greek restaurant but it was closed so we saw Yianni's was open and a few minutes away so we decided to try it. We are so glad we did. It will now be a regular stop when we are in town. First, the service was exceptional. Our server Michael couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. He was amazing. He was friendly, answered all our questions and was so nice to talk to. So nice to have a pleasant server who takes the time with customers and makes them feel welcome. Now the food. Everything was great. The avgolemono soup was perfect. Best I've ever tasted. Everyone was happy with their food. The gyros and Slovaki sandwiches were filled with meat and were delicious. The tsatsiki sauce was very tasty and the oven roasted potatoes were so delicious.. No one left hungry. They provided some complimentary fruit at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. We took some desserts home because they looked so good and they were! Prices were very reasonable. Just a great time. We are so glad that other restaurant was closed. We will be back to Yianni's again and will ask...
