Bereket Turkish Cuisine Fairfield Avenue — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Eating here was a good life decision.

I got takeout tonight because I've wanted to try this place, and it was absolutely delicious! I should preface this by saying I'm not a connessuer of Turkish food -- I think I've only had bits and pieces here and there. But I love the ingredients that go into it, so I figured I'd enjoy a number of the dishes.

I wanted leftovers so I got an entre, small side of rice, and small mixed appetizer plate. It will probably be enough for 3 meals, but definitely 2!

The mixed appetizer has 5 of their dips. I didn't want the hot pepper dip so I asked to substitute tzatziki, but they said it would be too runny but offered haydari instead, which is very similar. Everything was SO good! Nice variety of flavors.

For the entree I got the chicken shish kebab with yogurt (plus small side of rice). The rice was okay, not bad, but just not what I'm accustomed to. In the entree, I didn't realize the "pieces of pita bread" meant they would be chopped up small and mixed into the sauce with the grilled chicken. But it was delicious! The sauce was so flavorful - I could really taste the pepper and garlic.

I had a little of this and that from everything I ordered, so it was a really nice variety. Looking forward to dining in their cute space sometime and trying...

The best Turkish Cuisine in entire CT !! food is EXCELLENT!! service is awesome atmosphere is amazing so much appreciate your hard work, BEREKET owners and staff. Bereket Turkish cuisine located in 2871 Fairfield Ave Bridgeport CT is a a hidden gem, food is always beyond delicious, the chicken and the lamb are always well done, tasty and juicy, cheese cigars are the best, so yummy. The baba ganosh is just like back home and the baklava is so tasty. Awww the rice pudding is DELICIOUS. Everything is just perfect. also the customer service is always amazing and welcoming. If there is more than FIVE stars I would give this cuisine, this place will be my " middle eastern " place to go when I grave Middle Eastern food AND TURKISH COFFEE in CT I extremely recommend this Turkish cuisine...

I went this Resturant with my family 10/10/2021 1 pm I gave one star because I am Turkish from NYC I knew good test and fresh food this Reastutant 3 platte 2 Chiken and one mx grill no test ti think this Reasrurant cooking before and warm up before serve to coustemer but they should know when you cooked early and warm up kebab juice test goaway I Recomend to them they should eat this kebab before serve we did not happy we came this place first time when you got fresh cooked kebab smell good but this one does not have the good smell only good is lentil soup and yougurt that’s why I gave one star All the kebab was Dry like second time...
