Tautog Tavern — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Rude staff, rude customers, horrible service. Bartender apparently couldn't be bothered serving anyone they didn't know already. Took forever just to get 2 drinks in the 2 hours I was there. On top of it all another patron who appeared to be a regular or possibly friends with the bartender was was practically bullying strangers like she was in highschool with snarky remarks and rude comments making a few people including myself uncomfortable to the point we had to leave. Bartender just ignored it all.

I have only been here a few times over the years, and it's kinda the same every night. I only go cause friends want to go, but we all finally decided not to return here again because this scenario happens...

New owners, stunning restoration and delicious food! The family enjoyed a buffalo chicken pizza and the owner, Fred, made me what had to be the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Fresh mozzarella and delicious sauce and a crispy crust. Unlike many restauranteurs Fred truly cared what we thought of his food. As a native NYerI know real NYC pizza. Milano's is the real deal. Super-casual neighborhood pub in Black Rock section of Bridgeport. Service is good & place is clean. Good selection of beers & booze, regular, live entertainment (good), decent pub fare & snacks & you won't break the bank by hanging out for a few hours.
