Caridad Restaurant — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I have been to this restaurant 2 times. The 1st time was 3 years ago with my husband. There was 5 lady's behind the counter and none gave us the time of day. After standing there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge we were standing there to order another guy came in and was served right away!! We left, I gave the restaurant another shot yesterday I figured maybe I'll order through the app and just walk in and pick up the food. I order at 7am the app said 735am it would be ready for pick up, I get there at 744am just to give some time for the order to be ready i ordered a small Avena and a Dominican Breakfast, 2 women behind the counter said the order had just gone through and I had to wait. Ok no problem, so finally the order was ready 805am. The lady asked how I wanted to pay. I had already paid when I ordered the food. She was just rude l, then she yells and embarrassed me saying that she dose not see where I paid for the food. Then a guy comes out the kitchen and dose the same thing if you don't know how to use a app to take food orders that have been paid for prior to picking up then don't have the option to buy food that way. Needless to say the food was not what I ordered and will not be given this place another shot, sad because we are supposed to support out local small businesses but when you do you get ignored bad service. Or have to wait to be seen to get a order!! It's just...

This place is very disorganized... I have called a few different time and have been left on hold hear there side conversation. I order an green salad with chicken which their menu says its 6.95 When they told me the price it was 9.00. A green salad nothing on it besides some dry chicken. When I asked them for a updated menu with the correct prices I was cut off and told they do not have any menus yet. I have been trying to get a menu from them for over a month. My FAVORITE place the restaurant is small and humble but the food is the best the PRICES i mean no where is as good as their combo price the ladies they are all goo only one lady isn’t but the majority is good im Hispanic myself and I really enjoy coming to this restaurant I recommend to order to go cause the neighborhood and people who go in aren’t as nice because is located in the ghetto but I still love it I don’t mine the location is not my fav but I like the quality of the FOOD...
