I wish I had the ability to give this restaurant no stars at all today I was greeted by one of the most uneducated rudest obnoxious disgusting individuals I’ve ever dealt with in my life. when I ask questions about the food she gave me half answers and it was almost as if I was bothering her by asking questions then she proceeded to pretty much throw the food at me. At that point I had about enough of her and just simply asked to get my money back and begged her to go back to school and get herself some manners. if this was the last restaurant left in the Sahara desert and I was hungry & thirsty I still would not enter their premises. it is an outrage that such disrespectful people represent put up a business and clean to represent our culture . Someone recommended this restaurant for soup and I went there. I bought the items in the picture attached and ended up paying over $41. This is nuts. They do not post the prices for their food on the menu board. I went on the assumption that it was off the beaten path and the prices would be reasonable. Lessons learned. There's nothing special about the food. $17 for a soup is nuts. For those folks reading this in 2050, these are 2021 prices. Not even the receipt has the name of all the items I bought. Started with appetizers are tipical Caribbean taste in the money. Very good service with a smile. First time here place very clean as does parking goes narrow streets to be able to find a space in the streets. Well I order there famous pastelillos beef with cheese (2) "there signature appetizers" Delicious also ordered Chicken w/cheese(1)awesome...alcapurias de Yuca good (2) but the "pionono" lack of ripe plantains to much ground beef (1) but most but not least the price total $20.
