I used to live near here and Franzone's was always unquestionably THE best pizza around. More of that to follow in this disappointing review. I moved to another state some time ago. Every time I, or a family member is in the area, at least one pizza is coming back with somebody. Last Saturday a friend and I travelled to Ikea in Conshohocken and afterwards I was on the phone with a clear simple order of 2 large pepperoni pizzas. I couldn't wait to have this pizza as the sauce is distinct and amazing. We arrived and were greeted promptly. So far so good. We paid for our pizzas and in a couple minutes we were informed our orders were up and fresh out of the oven. I informed the counter person this pizza was going for a ride out of state and we were really eager to dig in once we arrived home. After being tortured by the wonderful smell of the pizza for nearly an hour we were home. I ripped into the box as quickly as I could only to discover I had been given a plain cheese pizza. I immediately texted my friend to inform him I had a cheese pizza. He stopped and checked his only to discover he too had a cheese pizza. It was about 15 minutes before closing time and surprise, I reached voicemail. I left a message with my phone number informing them about the error and requested a callback. It's a week later and nothing. I'm assuming they figure I'm just some out of state guy they'll never see or hear from again. Wrong. Admittedly I and my friend could have avoided this mistake by checking the pizzas before leaving the restaurant. That doesn't excuse the error and the lack of at least calling me back with some kind of apology. So to sum this long story up, great pizza, lousy customer service. If you order take out make sure you check it before you leave as it's apparently too difficult to keep track of a 2 pizza order on a slow night when no one else is in...
Read moreI brag about this pizza shop a lot. I took my Mom there yesterday May 14th 2023 for Mother's Day. I was having a cheat day as I'm not allowed any of this type of food. The slice of pizza we both had was amazing. The fries were amazing as well. My Mom had the seafood platter comes with fries and cole slaw we had to ask the waitress for a fork and knife for my Mom to eat it as well as a plate. Then she didn't bring the cole slaw so had to ask for it she seemed upset and it was not cut small enough. Now onto my order. I ordered the baked ziti had to keep repeating my order to her 5xs until I finally pointed to it on the menu when she bought it to me it was not baked and no fork to eat it with so I ask for one she tells me she bought a fork I said for my Mom not me she said oh I get it. I ate my fries and bought the ziti home because I was going to bake it myself but decided to throw it out. Mind you it has 2 kinds on the menu Ziti and Baked Ziti and two different prices wish I could show the pictures. Then we ordered dessert my Mom got the cheese cake waitress gave her a plastic spoon to eat it and it was frozen. I ordered ice-cream chocolate and strawberry she brings it in a styrofoam cup I couldn't eat both kinds at the same time. My Mom and I laughed about it and my Mom still had a great day. I was not satisfied with the service she was very unprofessional. I also just noticed I was cha fee for getting the service from this waitress that didn't do a...
Read moreWe have had great food from the Bridgeport PA location, and good enough food from Conshohocken location. Back in the day they were not the same owners, just relatives, as explained to us. Honestly if they are the same now I would say Conshohocken PA purchased Bridgeport. This is our third not so great experience. My buddy and I stay away from the large chains to keep the mom and pop places going. I will continue to patronize Bridgeport Franzone's. I will say something awesome about Bridgeport, back in the floods, they were closed do to power and clean water issues, I called one day and they were still closed, however a gentleman answered and told me what was happening down there. I said we all were sorry for this and can not wait for them to reopened. I asked what was he doing in there and he told how he was coming in to make a sandwich for a woman who really depended on Franzone's to survive due to her inability to do for her self. Well with that being said I will say that Franzone's really went up 20 notches with me. There for I will continue to patronize. I do support this establishment they were great in the past and I think they can bring it back around. Franzone's you are a keystone in that community and you will have my...
