Petals Florist — Local services in Bridgeport

What you see is not what you get when it comes to my experience with Petals. I ordered the $60 Jolly Candy Cane Bouquet. and ended up with an arrangement containing about 6 flowers, 2 candy canes and a whole lot of greens to fill the space. No pine cones, no bow. This is definitely not a $60 arrangement, more like $30 at best.

I called to voice my disappointment and was offered for them to go back, take the arrangement and replace it. However, I did not want to burden the recipient with that inconvenience and hassle. I requested a refund and was offered $10. It should have been at least a 50% refund in my opinion. I feel a bit swindled based on what I thought I was getting vs. what I actually received. I understand that its the holidays, but there should not be this much of a difference between the photos posted on their website of the arrangements and the actual product.

The photos of what I ordered vs. what was delivered speak for themselves. Definitely will not be ordering from them again.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner and refunded the full amount to make up for my disappointment in the arrangement. I really appreciate it, good customer service...

The lady who helped me seemed to have an attitude and acted like she didn’t want to help me whatsoever throughout the whole process. If it wasn’t for the fact that I was in a rush and needed some flowers ASAP, I definitely would have taken my business else were.

When I first came in the lady did not great me or even ask if I needed help she just stared me up and down. When I asked if they had colored roses she just stared at me then answered yes(as if I was asking a dumb question) so I then proceeded to ask her what the prices were since she obviously wasn’t going to tell me that either. Once she saw I was serious customer she than proceeds to treat me more nicely ( either that or because her boss walked up front) either way I understand it’s V-day and this may be one of the more chaotic times of the year for them but still shouldn’t change how you at least treat first time customers...

Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely super OVERPRICED especially for...

Where do I start.... I've been a client of Petals for years! As a man who believes in quality and integrity, I've made Petals my Official GO-TO Florist. The owner (Tommy) is a great person to know and work with! I can say to Tommy, Here is the color scheme that I am looking for and Tommy will amaze you with what is created! Although I'm Philly born and Raised, Petals and Tommy will ALWAYS be my OFFICIAL Florist and person that I will contract out for ALL and future events!
