I stopped in after work and wanted some slices of "grandma/nonna" pizza. When I asked one of the owner's, he directed me to the area of the counter where there a few different slices of regular pizza that were dried out &looked like they were sitting there for hours. I was really hungry, so I said I would have a mushroom & sausage slice. As he was putting it in the oven to heat up; I noticed him give a customer a slice of grandma pizza, so thinking it was the last slice, I asked him how long it would be until he made a fresh grandma pizza & he said 20-30 minutes. After this, I was still waiting for my slices & I saw him give another customer a slice of grandma pizza. So I questioned him & said I thought he said they didn't have anymore. His attitude was very dismissive, so at this point I was extremely annoyed & walked out. When I got home I called to let him know I didnt appreciate the deceptive shady service. Read moreWe have been going to Massimo's for years. Last night my husband had chicken Marsala with a side of pasta. He asked for meat sauce and was never told there would be an up charge. When the bill came - $3.95 for two tablespoons of sauce! When we paid the $60 bill with a credit card, we were charged $62.50. When my husband asked, we were told there is a service charge for using a credit card. I own a small business and credit card fees are a natural part of doing business. A couple of years ago there was a lettuce shortage and, although your dinner had salad included, if you wanted salad, there was an additional $1 charge. Massimo has nickeled and dimed us for the last time and we've been going there for 40 years. They lost life time customers over a...
