Mil Sabores — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Food was delicious as always and our waiter was fantastic to say the least. Very attentive and kind. But I’m very disappointed. My family wanted to go eat out there so bad because they love the food and get it every so often. That same day I had called the store asking if balloons were allowed at the new restaurant and the owner got on the phone said ofc just not to many. He ever said if you have a cake you can bring it and place it in the fridge. And that was the end of that conversation I said thank you. When we arrive the waitress takes the cake and I explain the owner said something about the fridge. She said np we brought our own candles too. When it’s time to sing happy birthday they bring the plates and a cake with the candles. When we get the bill, we see a $15 charge for cake fee. How do you get charge for a cake and candles a customer provided and cut the cake themselves. We asked our waiter why weren’t we told about the fee, he said he would ask the owner about it since we weren’t told anything by the owner on the phone. I am SOO DISAPPOINTED of this place, i really love the food here, but sadly our drinks didn’t taste good at all, they changed one of them but when i asked them to please exchange my sangria for another drink one of the MANAGERS AND THEN THE OWNER (these two look alike btw) REFUSED TO DO SO, THE OWNER EVEN THREATENED US TO CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I WANTED A DRINK EXCHANGE ! (and we were patiently waiting for the police to show up but never did) I kindly ask for another drink so they don’t lose money and he still refused to replace it, i was totally okay with paying as long as they replace the drink. Probably the owner is going through bad financial situation and thats why he was forcing us to pay for a bad tasting sangria, i really hope he gets out of this situation soon!!. ALL THE YOUNG MALE WAITERS WERE AMAZING WITH US AND THE OTHER MANAGER JHON TOTALLY HELPED OUT WITH THE SITUATION AND APPARENTLY HIM AND THE OTHER YOUNG WAITERS WERE THE ONLY LOGICAL PEOPLE IN THERE, THANK YOU JHON FOR BEING ETHICAL, POLITE & CHARISMATIC YOU SHOULD BE THE ONLY OWNER OF...

Me toco esperar un poco porque estaba lleno , Nos asignaron una mesa , nos ofrecieron tragos , tardaron un poco pero muy ricos , esperamos la comida , una hamburguesa y tacos de birria ,Dios mio que delicia , la hamburguesa inmensa cin chuleta ahumada, carne , pollo , tocineta, queso , salsas divinaaaa , si comiste en la calle del hambre en caracas tienes que probarlas aquí, simplemente deliciosas , los tacos divinos también 😋, la atención 10000/10 nos atendió Abner excelente 👌 ...
