The Red Fork — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Surprised to see that the prior restaurant, Howell's, was replaced by an Indian restaurant took me by pleasant surprise. I had been dying for Indian food in my neighborhood for a long time and it seemed too good to be true. After making my way from the bank, I stopped in to ask about the menu. One of the staff kindly answered all of my questions, and was very pleasant to speak with. The food was more than I could ask for. I didn't want to go out of my comfort zone yet, so I asked for a mild chicken curry, which they tailor to your spice preference. My food came out within 10-15 minutes and was initially in a pick up container. Embarrassingly clarifying that I wanted to dine in, the staff had no issues with bringing my food back to me, and much more than I had expected. What was brought to me was a decently large bowl of rice, and a serving of chicken curry that left me speechless. The rice was warm and fluffy, fine on its own but when paired with the seasoned chicken it was divine. Mind you I had ordered mild, but I could still taste the seasonings and spices that were used for the sauce and chicken, which was very tender. One of the best dine in experiences for Indian food hands down. I am looking forward to being a regular customer. 10 out...

Amazing food! I am so excited to finally have some decent halal food so close to home. I love that they have such an amazing variety of food to offer from halal Chinese to traditional tandoori, sweets and biriyani. We ordered chicken biriyani, garlic naan, chicken hakka noodles, butter chicken, chicken korma, mango lassi, chicken tandori and mutton Rogan Josh. The portions were decent for the price. My family of 6 shared and still had food left over. The tandoori was our favorite!! It was truly delicious!! The butter chicken, Hakka noodles and rogan josh were also phenomenal. We truly enjoyed the garlic naan. The korma was also good. The biriyani was good but towards the end had a little too much seasoning for our liking. Overall the food was delicious and we will most definitely order again. The lassi was delicious as well. Although we didn’t order sweets this time, our family member brought us sweets from here and it was out of this world! So yummy! Hope this place stays...

I recently visited Aayat kitchen and had an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt welcomed.

The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with beautiful decor that transported me to India. The menu had a wide variety of options, and it was hard to choose what to order! I ended up trying a few different dishes, and each one was more delicious than the last.

The spices used in the food were perfectly balanced, and I appreciated the level of heat in each dish. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality, which made the flavors truly shine.

The service was also exceptional - our waiter was knowledgeable and he was attentive without being intrusive, which made for a pleasant dining experience.
