I had a very disappointing experience at Turtle on 8/22/25 when ordering parts for my electricians. On my first visit, everything went smoothly and I purchased an electric box among other items. However, when my electricians installed the box on 8/25/25, they found the breaker inside was defective.
I returned to the store to exchange just the defective breaker. The employee at the counter first insisted that without a receipt nothing could be done, even though I asked him to look up the purchase under my company name. After some back-and-forth, he finally found the order in the system. Still, he refused to exchange just the defective breaker and demanded I bring back the entire installed box.
I explained that the box was already installed and removing it would waste time and money, but he offered no real solution. Instead, he suggested I buy a brand-new box, take the breaker out, and then return the entire new box with the defective breaker inside—basically asking me to spend more money and go through unnecessary steps just to get what should have been a simple exchange for a defective part.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable. A company that sells electrical supplies should have better systems and training in place to resolve issues quickly and fairly, especially when the mistake comes from their defective product. Instead of helping the customer, this location made the process difficult, frustrating, and time-consuming.
If this is how they continue to treat clients, many customers will simply take their business elsewhere. I hope management trains their staff better and improves their policies so that future customers don’t face the same poor servicein at end i left Place without a solution and went to look for same part...
Read moreI am a home owner that came in to pick up supplies ordered by my electrician. The counter helper was extremely rude and condescending. He has a blond short hair (maybe David). I told him I am here to pick up supplies under my name Van. He started to ask what I ordered and I told him I dont know; my electrician called the ordered. He started giving me a condescending look and told me I dont know what I ordered? another guy was near by and he took over and was able to identify my order right away.
That is not the end of this. The condescending guy, David, asked the other worker to give him the order printout. I was already annoyed so I made a comment that hopefully it will take less than 10 minutes to review and the condescending guy David sarcastically said at least 15 minutes. Real lousy...
