Mystic Lobster Rolls Bridgewater — Restaurant in Bridgewater Township

This place really popped up on the map for me, I was harkening for some nice lobster roll comfort food and a friend recommended this spot to me saying they were just opened.

I went with my friend and we loved it, the staff was incredible to chat with while the order was being made! The whole place just oozes vibe and comfort. I think one of the people I was chatting with was the owner and I think the other was head chef, but I left the conversation thinking "What am I going to order for breakfast here tomorrow??" (We did end up going back the next morning for breakfast as well.)

The food was incredible, I am addicted to the Rosemary Yukon gold potatoes. It's got such a journey for your mouth. You take a bite and for a split second, your mouth says "Hmm, that's just a potato?" BUT BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN FINISH THAT THOUGHT, the rosemary butter kicks that thought RIGHT out of the ball park and you're sitting there thinking how dumb you were for thinking it was JUST a potato!

If you can quickly get over the fact that you are walking into a gas station mini mart my first experience was good. The lobster had great flavor nice big meaty chunks, slaw was excellent (I'm a fan of vinegary slaws) the mini potato side was nothing special but had lots of flavor. Now the fact that lobster truck visits not even a 1/4 mile away I would probably visit the truck over this place only because I feel the sandwiches are bigger, the sides are better, and $ wise they are about the same. Drove by this new lobster place and we decided to give it a try. We ordered three items the BLT lobster roll one was the butter lobster roll and ordered an appetizer which was the bacon wrapped lobster roll with the chipotle honey barbecue sauce.
