The 800-pound gorilla in the room is, of course, Chipotle. That chain's surprise success has changed the face of fast casual dining, and in turn spawned a bevy of imitators who have all tried to enter that market with limited success.

Enter a local competitor who might just have a recipe to at least find their own unique niche in the market. The basics are the same - choice of staple and sides - but with more options: bowls, burritos, double-shell (soft and hard) tacos, quesadillas, quesarritos, nachos, and taco salads. Then comes a multitude of hot sauces to garnish to taste.

The real standout here is the brisket - tender, moist, and flavorful, it's executed perfectly and is an option not found elsewhere.

To combat the heat of the salsas and sauces, a Freestyle Coke machine is available, as are bottled drinks.

For the adventurous, there is the "extreme heat taco challenge", which consists of 8 tacos in 10 minutes, topped with a secret array of sauces. Hmm, maybe next time ... but for now, how about a...

I've been here multiple times and at first it was great but the past year there has been an issue everytime I go. The girls that work there are rude and always have dirty looks on their faces. They are constantly on their phone which is probabaly leading to most of the issues, like forgetting parts of orders, forgetting that I paid already or over frying the empanadas. If you ask for anything that needs to go on the grill or fryer they are immediately annoyed. Today in particular they had one girl doing all of the work, while the other 2 chit chatted behind her. My empanadas were so over fried I couldn't eat them. They then forgot that we paid for a side a guacamole and told my husband we didn't. It sucks because the food is usually good but the service is awful. I will not...

Stopped here for lunch the other day and it was great. It's set up like the big chain restaurants: choose your vessel and meat, go down the line and add toppings. Everything was fresh and produced quickly. I got the quesurrito and it was HUGE. Very similar to the Wrong Doug at Moe's but at least twice the filling. I added the chips and queso as well and left very full. What kept me from giving this place 5 stars is I think there can be more seasoning on the meat and in the queso. Not spicy, just a bit more flavor. Thanks.

This place is a cross between Chipotle and Taco Bell, but better than both. Not exactly authentic, but the quality and quantity is good, but if you're looking for that double corn tortilla taco, look elsewhere. The irony is that they have both Valentina as a hot sauce option. Although they don't have any home made stuff.
