Hosted an after party event at Stone Tavern Bridgewater last night for approximately 40 people, and I am delighted to share it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The owner, Steve was so accommodating and gracious as we worked in advance to coordinate an event that was economical for each attendee, which included appetizers, salad, a buffet for entrees and dessert. (He even gave me the green light to bring in our own celebratory sheet cake). Soft drinks, coffee and tea were all included and for ease, gratuity was all rolled into the price per person. We elected to have a cash bar, which was also welcomed by the wide variety of guests in our group. The food was delicious and portions were generous. (Calamari, mozzarella and tomato, stuffed mushrooms, Caesar salad, penne vodka, chicken francese, sautéed mixed vegetables and eggplant rollatini). Special accommodations were made for three much younger guests in terms of price as well as bringing out more kid friendly food options on the spot for them (pizza, chicken tenders and fries). Our wait staff was wonderful! So friendly and gracious and attentive the entire time. As a matter-of-fact, EVERY single individual that we came across working at the restaurant last night was amazing, friendly and helpful from the hostesses, the manager, bartenders, and all the wait staff, including those not assigned to our party. Everyone at the event had a wonderful time celebrating together and I am so grateful to Steve and his entire team for everything they did to make it happen for us! We will be back!!!

Staff was so friendly, we had a party of 13 and it was great! The nachos were amazing, kids loved the ribs. Even a half rack was still plenty for all of them to share. If you like old fashions, you have to try the ginger smoked old fashion her it was lip smacking good. The cowboy ribeye was well worth the price had enough to share a bite with my kids. Now let's talk about how well this waitress did with all these kids, kept all the drinks full and got our orders correct. On top of that she round up some other servers to make my son's birthday a little extra. We will absolutely be back, need to try that bees knees. Thanks for the great experience and the delicious food!

MUST READ Honest Review !!! I was hoping that this place would live up to the hype but unfortunately i think most of the 4 & 5 star reviews are inflated ! Lets start shall we?

Drinks.. 2 ⭐️ Beers on Tap & cocktails are ALL over priced. With only a hand full of drinks on their drink menu w. prices listed in hopes you dont catch them screwing you over on your bill. Mixed drinks were basic and kinda watered down. At least they were cold though.

Service .. 2 ⭐️ Make sure you let your server know what brand liquor you want or they will put the most expensive liquor on your bill to boost their "tip". YES, they did that to me! $18 for a "house" margarita? Server went and dropped casa migos on my bill. Seems like they are trained to smile while they rob you blind, w. Small hidden charges here and there. At least she got everyone's order correct on that tablet she was using. Lost stars due to her Shady practices & lack of integrity. Im sure management knows.

Atmosphere ..2 ⭐️ I really dont think they know what they wanna be, A sports bar, upscale restaurant, or a family restaurant which one is it? The restaurant feels Cold (not degrees) w. grey monotone walls, gaudy chandeliers, & table layout which makes you feel like your in a Prison. The excessively loud music made it difficult to talk to your friends & hear the server. The bar side felt like I was at a sports bar w. Lots of Tvs to help you forget about how depressing & uninviting the place feels.

Most Importantly !! FOOD .. 1⭐️ OMG .. owners FIRE your chef! The Food was Bland, cold, & WAAAAYYY OVER PRICED. This place tries and charge upscale NYC prices and delivers w. TEMU quality. I dont recommend the following if you DARE to try this place. 1/2 chicken dish ( tasted like boiled chicken that was thrown on the grill 🤮). The feta cheese on the salads, tasted like plastic, not creamy like it should. And 4 over cooked shrimp ($10) on top was the kicker. Calamari a hand full of rubber bands. I could literally count 12 rings.. Geezus!

Lastly 3 BURGERS ALL over cooked. And a 10 year old disappointed w. his meal. 😡

Why the brutal Review? With a culinary background I have the tastebuds to know what is good and It upsets me to see that places like this pop up and try to take advantage of our community while lying and adding hidden credit card fees. Post 1 price then charge another. Places like this dont deserve our hard earned $. I guarantee this place doesn't stick around very long.

I sure as hell wont...

So this is my first run review. Not good,. Atmosphere.. hollow unwelcoming ambiance. Walk in to to left is a "seperate" private kind of dining area where previous Houlihans bar was. Didn't get a great look but if it was something worth looking at it would've drawn my attention a bit more perhaps. Had a desperate sort of attemp to look upscale with a glass wall of about 50 bottles of whatever wine. The other 75 percent of space was a bar, and an open seating area that felt more like a cafeteria. I sat at the bar. The windows along west side of building had no blinds, shades, or tint. Everybody was getting blinded and roasted by the sun beaming in. Not in a good way. In a bobbing and weaving trying to get behind someone's shadow kind of way. Service.. Bartenders looked like they had no knowledge of taps, or bottled offerings. Bartender did make an attempt to close blinds with the sun issue..only to walk over to windows finding what obvious shade should be there for customer comfort was not. (Maybe that's why bar was in previous location?🤔) For such a recent opening more management was needed to recognize and smooth out wrinkles. I think I saw a women "manager". I only say that because she was more dressed up and not in all black server or bartender uniform. She came out once from wherever, didn't look or speak to a single weary eyed anxious guest, but asked if the bartender was "good on ice". Then disappeared Food..Grilled Octopus- piece of prepackaged Octopus unseasoned and charred on a mountain of arugula, capers, and handful of a totally failed attempt at pickled red onions chopped and thrown on top with a drizzle of olive oil. Ratio of accoutrements to Octopus was at least 3:1. Pretzel loaves.. unsalted( not by request) Garlic Shrimp...was okay, but that's not a compliment unfortunately. I mean,..college kids make Garlic shrimp. And that's what it was. A tiny bit of know how and effort can make an easy anyone can cook dish..into something unexpected yet approachable and comfortable. Entrees are not cohesive dishes. Just protein, one side, and salad. No effort put forward. Sea Scallops,...Pshhhh, I don't even want to get into it. I'll be back for another shot in a month or so to see if things changed for...

Honestly, if I could give negative stars I would. I was so excited for a new restaurant in the area. I know they’re newly opened and of course there will be kinks needed to be worked out, but my experience was way beyond a kink. We went with 4 adults and 2 small children. Placed our order right away with our drink order. Drinks came out quick and no problem. About 45 minutes goes by and the waitress comes back to check in. I said if the kids food is ready before ours that they could please bring it out (a kids cheeseburger and a kids buttered pasta) She said she’d go check, about a half hour later the kids cheeseburger (bun hard as a rock) comes out by a different staff member. I ask about the other kids meal and she said it would be out in 2 minutes. Waitress disappears, about 15 minutes later we mention to one of the managers that we haven’t gotten our food, specifically the kids buttered pasta. He states that 2 of the kitchen staff members called out and they’re short staffed. Another 25 minutes goes by and still nothing. Finally the waitress comes by to asked “if we are ok” in which I replied not really we’re at over an hour and a half pushing 2 and can’t even get buttered pasta. She says she will go check with the kitchen. We asked her to be honest with the wait time as it was now after 8pm in which she replied to my father “I’m always honest babe” so unprofessional. 10 minutes later she comes back to tell us “there was a glitch in the system” and our food was never put in. So the multiple people “checking” on our food multiple times you’re now just realizing this?? We spoke to another manager again who seemed completely distracted when we were explaining our experience, gave 0 apology and allowed us to walk out without trying to rectify the situation at all. Horrible horrible customer service. I never ever want to see a business fail or go under but if they don’t make some serious changes they’re sadly heading in...
