SEVEN EMPLOYEES WORKING, NOT ONE MASK. I'd first like to state that I have never complained against a restaurant before, so this is both uncharacteristic and very intentional. I would like to know why NOBODY in the Bridgewater location is wearing a face-covering while handling food (and clearly nobody is enforcing it). When my boyfriend and I went through the drive through last night, it was incredibly busy, and we were horrified to see the ENTIRE kitchen staff completely mask-less. Two or three had masks but were wearing them like necklaces around their necks, which serves zero purpose. Not only that, but they were standing there, holding people's open ice-cream cups, talking right over them in a group. We didn't want to humiliate the poor girl working the window or cause a scene, but needless to say, we left and immediately dumped out our food. We aren't worried about getting our money back or our lost ice-cream; we are worried about the huge demographic of elderly/immune compromised people in Bridgewater who trust your stores under the guise of "safety." This blatant disregard of an extremely needed COVID safety precuation is beyond irresponsible. Despite what any personal opinions about Phase 3 are, what you all are doing is ILLEGAL. I tried to contact Joe Slocum, the owner, to no avail, but trust that this store has been reported to the state (and multiple forums) and we are spreading by word of mouth how very dangerous and careless what you're doing is. I grew up in that area and have a number of loved ones that I am concerned for and will be encouraging them all to avoid this establishment. Your customer's SAFETY should be your TOP PRIORITY, bottom line.
Owner Joe Slocum, if you'd like to discuss this, feel very free to call me back. I'm shocked nobody has reported this yet and I'm not...
Read moreI don’t usually leave a ton of reviews but after not being here in over 6 months because of being annoyed that they close earlier than their posted hours, I decided to try them again today instead of having to get out somewhere to get ice cream. I get to the speaker and am told they can only take exact cash, no cards. I was like well I’m going to need change back I’m not just giving you a $20 bill for a $10 order and not getting change, and they can’t do this which is absolutely ridiculous. Im a business owner myself and customer service should be top priority. The card machine being down is understandable because that’s not always something you can control but you should have a backup and be able to at least do cash with change. This Dairy Queen had went down hill so bad in the last 3 years. But the food and ice cream is usually good…when...
