We have been ordering from this restaurant ever since we moved to Bridgewater (4 years) We have always loved their food but something with the way they make their pizza has definitely changed. The last few times we have ordered we have been so disappointed with the quality of the pizza. It seems like there is no sauce on the pizza at all and they don’t hardly put cheese on the pizza anymore. I hate to say it but I think tonight’s pizza will be the last time we order from them 😕

New York Style Pizza brings me back to the pizzeria of old in Brooklyn in the 1970s with the old photographs of New York heroes. The tables and chairs are authentic, and this is as New York as it gets. The pizza selection is excellent, the appetizers were great, and the pizza was fantastic. Above all, the service, friendliness, and atmosphere make you feel like family. This is the place to be in Bridgewater.

I love this restaurant because every time I'm hear I'm never dissatisfied. And the prices are very affordable, along with very friendly customer service. And I would highly recommend going there if I were you. It is located in Bridgewater, Virginia, which is literally titled the safest city in the state of Virginia!

This place is pathetic. Below average food, and utterly atrocious, actually hostile, service. We ate there twice in person because our son is obsessed with boneless wings, and they offer them. Both times, different waiters insisted on taking our order without writing it down. Naturally, both times, the food was wrong. The second time, we even said before ordering that last time the order was taken without writing it down, it was wrong. The waiter brushed it off and insisted on not writing it down. Then when we called them out on the fact that it was wrong, again, not happy since we had taken steps to ask them to ensure it wouldn't be wrong by writing it down, the manager (I presume) came over and chastised us for being hostile. While we weren't happy or pleasant, hostile was a laughable exaggeration. The only thing I can say is they did take the specific meal off the ticket that was wrong, which they did not do the first time, but that time we had not made an issue beyond a simple report that it wasn't what was ordered, which should have been more than enough to comp it. After the second visit, my wife and I had decided we would never eat there again, even though our son still wanted to.

Then they even upped their game of incompetence and aggression. Our son placed a delivery order--first time he ordered since the incident described above--to his campus residence hall. The next thing he gets is a cryptic text saying the food was left at the garage. Confused, he asked us about it, and I told him he would have to call the driver and find out what happened because there is no garage at his campus residence hall. Apparently after not being able to communicate with the driver effectively due to language barriers, my wife called the restaurant to explain the problem. The restaurant repeatedly insisted the food had been delivered, despite the glaringly obvious explanation that they delivered it to the wrong address. While asking them to re-prepare the meal and deliver it to the correct address, they hung up mid-sentence. Charitably, my wife assumed it was a disconnect and called back. This time, they became aggressive, insisting that because the food was delivered to some unknown party the situation was "out of their hands". There would be no new order. There would be no refund. And once again, they hung up mid-sentence, this time leaving no doubt.

This place needs to clean house, fire everyone who's currently there and has been corrupted with foolish policies, like refusing to write down orders, and then responding with acrimony when the inevitable complaints come in from their incompetence. Or maybe the fish rots from the head, and the owners set the tone, in which case there is no hope of correcting their complete failure at managing a business founded in customer service. Now we will refuse to allow our son to eat there, and this time given he's been left at nearly 8pm with nothing to eat, he's probably just fine with that.

Update: it's very telling that the owner is willing to make the easy responses to the good reviews and ignore the bad ones. Just like the service there: we won't lift a finger to make it right. I guess that answers my question about the fish rotting...

I ordered from this place alot before. Though there were some mess ups with the philly cheesesteak having no cheese at all service was good. 2 weeks ago they messed up my food i sent the driver who took 1hr to get there because she was new but was texting me from her iphone(WHICH HAS A GPS) and the receipt has my address and i live down the street and around the corner. I sent her back with my correct order and they sent her back with the same messed up food but different fries that were burnt and dried out. I called back and asked for my money back and hours later she came back with my refund. I then tried to order from there yesterday and i specifically ask for them to call because you cant just knock on my building and expect for someone to hear you. 1hr and 15 minutes pass after them saying the food will take 30 to 40 minutes so i call back and they tell me the driver was there and called multiple times but wouldn't look at me or the drivers call long but said they'll send the driver back with fresh food. They send a driver who just came in with the same food from over a hour ago. IM DONE WITH THIS PLACE....

A very horrible experience. We ordered online and get there and have to wait 15 minutes longer. I had no problem even though the place was empty with only 2 tables occupied. During this the delivery girl threw a fit because she had to make another delivery a literally kicked the door open during this fit. We finally get our food and make it home and we are short. We call back and the guy gets combative saying they were too busy and there will be no refund or replacement of the missing food. Thank goodness it was on file with Slice so they took care of the refund. Will never go back again and do not recommend any other families to attend this establishment. My best guess is they didn't have the college crowd they wanted on a Friday night so decided to slack on local paying customers. They really need to get the New York attitude out of their demeanor and settle down to how people act in the Bridgewater area. Will go to Harrisonburg from here on out. Do not waste you time at this place unless you are ready for the above. Never get the pizza either just drive a small bit further and get much better pizza...
