McDonald's — Restaurant in Bridgton

First of all the person at the cash register is the most important thing when you first come in My first impression on this day I went in was the guy at the cash register was wearing a bright orange vest he actually was wearing one of these road construction safety vest and looked like he just came in from the side of the road . What ever happened to the MacDonald's uniforms ? 2.He was nice but had no clue about senior discounts and basically dint care less about it Also when I asked him about a military discount he kinda gave me an attitude and said they dint have any that he knew of. It's pretty sad when a veteran can't even get a discount at a world wide multi billion dollar corporation . By the way I go to subway most of the time and they always give a military discount of 10 % I am 58 yrs old and started eating at McDonald's when I was around 3 yrs old At one of the original stores in Beverly Mass at the Beverly /Salem bridge ...this was back in 1968 or 1969. So I am not a rookie I am sad to say the food quality and size of a hamburger has gotten so small the bun is a filler .and the Prices are over the Top. French fries are way to expensive and so is everything else . I was thinking they should have kept the dollar drink special for a coffee or soda . That's even gone now. In America thousands of restaurants are going out of business all the time since covid So now I see the economic mess we are all in and the government caused all of this. One of the top economic indicator for the average joe is to get a cheeseburger and a beer At this point McDonald's is so expensive that record numbers of Americans can't afford to eat with a family of four at McDonald's now I am not blaming MacDonald's for raising there prices with out cause .this is the end result when minimum wage goes up so fast that actually causes a chain reaction because they have to pay high school kids 12 to 20 dollars per hr to make MacDonald's food. By the way the average cheese Burger and beer at a rest in bridgton is now around 20 dollars plus tax and tip of 20% So the average senior on a fixed social security income is taking it right in the nose and I am being polite . So the breaking point is here and I see people eating home more and more I probably won't go to MacDonald's any more way to expensive .for poor...

Stopped by(drive thru) on the way to an appointment, their were 3 cars ahead of us we waited approximately 7-8 mins to order then 12 mins to get our order.. 2- sausage biscuits w/ no egg 2- Sausage Mc muffins 1- orange juice

Order received: 2-Sausage Mc muffins no egg 2- sausage biscuits w/ egg 1- orange juice (extremely bitter/ sour tasting that I had to throw it out after we both tried it to be sure it tasted bad)

The issue is that w/ most of the people that go thru the drive thru we are on our way to work or similar so we grab our order from the drive thru & go .. We don't realize our order is NOT CORRECT until we have made it miles down the road or to work, ect.. Not having the time to drive back, wait at drive thru, wait for food & so on.. It's super frustrating to the customers that take their time to wait, spend our money & then not have what we ordered/paid for . I guess some people will say that we should check before leaving but this doesn't always happen due to the long wait time waiting for food that once you get the food you need to be on the road or whatever the deal is, PLUS isn't that the job of the employee to check for quality assurance?? Not your food passed out, the window shuts, next... I know we are human, we make mistakes, ect but after several times of this, it gets old & then here we are.... I feel bad complaining but NOTHING CHANGES IF...

We come here all the time and it is hit or miss. When we come inside to eat and choose table service every time they just yell the number from the counter instead of walking it to the table like they are supposed to, also they never put a drink with it so you have to ask for the cup that comes with the meal. I'm very frustrated with this. I have 3 kids and when I come here alone with them and I need them to bring it to the table they don't and I don't feel comfortable leaving my kids at the table alone to go get the food. When we go through the drive thru majority of the time everything is perfect. Then we ordered pies this visit and they said they only had 1 and it would be a few minutes for the other ones and after 20 minutes we asked and they said 5 more minutes they are putting them in boxes and then went talking to the manager he said that they were just putting them in the oven and will cook for 12 minutes so we got our money back from that.
